Hotel Jyothi Prakash is on the main road , Challakere - Chitradurga Road and Near Valmiki statue. Easily accessible from main Road. Hotel Serves Vegetarian dishes . We had stopped for Breakfast. It was referred to us A G Vikas to taste delicious breakfast. It's no frills self service restaurant. We had Ordered Avalkki Mirchi ( Poha and Mirchi), Idly wada , Masala Dose ( Dosa) , and filter coffee. All the dishes were prepared excellently, we enjoyed Masala Dose, Avalakki Mirchi and Idly wada . Alugadde Palya ( Aloo Subji) in side Masala Dose along with Masala was excellent, Dosa was crispy outside and soft inside/ Excellent. Similarly Avalakki ( Poha) was good tasted good with Mirchi. Idly was served hot and tasted great with Chutney. Awesome Filter coffee, excellent aroma and enjoyed . Polite and Quick Service. Overall we enjoyed the food I suggest you enjoy the Vegetarian Breakfast at Hotel Jyothi Prakash Suggestion for improvement: cleanliness inside the Restaurant, and cleaning the tables . Since it's on the market n road, floating guests are more this point needs to be considered for customer satisfaction.

Yes it is the best hotel. when ever we go here we order dosa(simple dosa,plane dosa,masala dosa,onion dosa etc) very delicious.

Whenever I travel through challakere, I always make it a point to have coffee here. Simply awesome coffee. Idly, Vada, dosa - all tasty and hygienic.

Food is tasty, price is ok but the ambience is outdated

Are you on a hunt for a good breakfast at Challakere...? Here it is...."Hotel Jyothi Prakash". The hotel is on Challakere-Chitradurga road, near Valmiki circle. It is very well known for breakfast. There is no service available (self-service). Here you get hot Idli with spicy sambar and chutney, soft n crisp Medu vada, masala dosa, kaali dosa, (famous), shavige bath, set dosa, Mangalore bajji. You can also savour a good strong filter coffee n kadak tea(Chai). So do visit n get relished.

Nice Hotel with good n Authentic Food in Challakere No issues faced from 5 years to today

Food is just amazing. Probably the most crowded restaurant in Challakere. Masaladose and Coffee is a must try here. Washroom hygiene needs serious attention.
