The location of the hotel caused lot of discomfort as there are lot of steep narrow steps just to reach the entrance of the hotel. Rooms are good and provided good view. This hotel serves only vegetarian food. The food quality is good but the quantity is meagre. However they provided "kichdi" on request for my kid.

It was an okay stay. Firstly if you want to have a great view then this one is the best. But view isn't all because after all for this view you will have to trek about 100+ steps which is very disgusting. They haven't mentioned (which they should b'coz that's very important) that this hotel has 70+ steps excluding the floor steps which is not at all appropriate for the elderly ones and kids as well. Secondly food here is good in quality but not quantity. They serve fresh no doubt. Thirdly room service (room cleaning) is not at all good. They don't clean your washroom n bed, they only sweep the floor. Fourthly the manager is a very sweet person , he's available all the time.

First of all the location of the hotel is too bad. You have to walk 2-3 minutes from the Gandhi road. The road is very steep. After this you have to climb 70 stairs to reach the hotel. You will be exhausted. Rooms are good but room service are very poor. Water heaters are not working. Food quality of the hotel is too bad. They will charge Rs.200 for lunch or dinner. But foods are not of that quality. Overall the hotel is not too good.

The hotel is located not too far from the main market but one have to take long stairs to reach the hotel. This would be horrible for aged people. Hotel staff are good and polite. View from the hotel is very nice. One can see the whole Darjeeling city from top. My experience particularly with room services was not good. Overall, I. I had a good time here.

Hotel was not good at all. 1. Blanket was smelling 2.Less/No flow of water in washroom 3. Out of three bulbs 2 were not working 4. To reach hotel u need to climb 80 stairs 5. No night bulb in rooms 6.No towels in the room Very pathetic experience, price of the hotel was not worth according to the facilities

It's lovely place to stay and visit. In this hotel you will get all the facilities like drinking water,cooler,heater, and etc whatever of daily use. And of course it provides best room for worth of money you pay. Rooms are well decorated and clean. Room service is also available and yes the big problem in hotel is cantin and yes it provides the cantin facility as well. So don't think so much if u wanna good room for good price just go for this hotel.

Very bad experience, served only vegetarian food, too oily made of seasame oil, very bad service, no hot water available. Same hotel is also shown as New Mandala Nx, waiters say the name is Golden orion. Lot of cheating going on.

The hotel is situated at very high place. You will have to overcome the srruggle of more than fifty steps of stair to get the doorstep of this hotel. But if you can overcome this hardle then you will feel blessed at next morning when you will see the Kanchenjunga from your room. The view is awesome.
