Hotel Ivy Studios Viman Nagar - Hotel in Pune - Pune, India

Room condition was very bad, least maintained. Washroom condition was also pathetic, water color was brown. Above all these, I could see cockroaches in the room, in the washroom and near food items. Also I was able to hear rats running sound from ceilings. Couldn't sleep properly for 2 nights. Only good part is the food. Breakfast buffet was tasty and they were preparing instant juices or other items on request.

The hotel and rooms are nice very close to airport still doesn't justify to the price they charge. There was blood stained and torn linen in the room. The housekeeping did change but after 3 times they still couldn't find a linen with no stain marks. There was muddy water coming from wash basin. Breakfast buffet was simple but was nice I like it.

5th point is very important read it. I believed Hotel Industries are into Hospitality but this Hotel Ivy Studios proved me wrong. All staff, receptionist and Manager have worst mindset, arrogant and street smart behaviour. 1. I booked through agoda with clear option of Large bed instead of split beds. On arrival for check in they're denied me Large bed saying all rooms are sold out but they will change the room next day which didn't happen. Manager tried to convince with great lies and as if doing favour to me for free. 2. The stain on the bucket and mugs. I will not use them even in my toilet. 3. The taps are so tight that you need all your energy to change the mode to shower /tap. 4. Spray gun on the left side. 5. I was unwell and called reception if they could get medicine for me. They straight away denied saying there's no one to get. I somehow gather all the strength to buy medicine by myself and found that 2 female and 1 male room service ppl are just sitting on stairs and watching videos on phone and another guy in the lobby and 2 male receptionists. Still they were not generous to get medicine from the nearby pharmacy. It is very obvious to call reception for any medical emergency. What if anybody has got serious medical emergency like asthma attack or heart attack etc After seeing me getting the medicine the receptionist called me, playing his cheap tricks, to ask if I hv already got medicine. 6. The time taken to generate Bill especially when getting late to reach airport. I had previous day itself asked to keep the Bill ready but the night duty person denied to give it but only on check out. 7. Kitchen staff forced to drink coffee when the tea was over. And denied refilling the tea saying it will take time you better have coffee. Zero hospitality. Only money minded. They don't treat guests with welcoming tone. There's arrogance even when they address you Sir. They literally don't mean it. They need to be made aware of 'Athithi Devo Bhava' The only thing which I felt good is the location which is close to airport and 24/7 hot water.

It is very close to airport and convient if you have early morning or late night flight. It hardly takes 5-10min to reach from the hotel to airport. The room was clean and spacious, bathroom wasn't great but decent enough. The staff was helpful and courteous. Definitely better than Oyo, Fabhotel, etc. It's value for money if you get it in 2-4k range.

Rooms are good but the socket for charging are damaged i found a lot of difficulty while charging my phone. Some days the water coming in bathroom was dirty(muddy). Overall good hotel but the amenities provided for such the price they charge for their rooms are not up to the mark. Can find still better facility hotels at this price

Review in summary - strongly advise to stay away from this 'so close to airport' and nicely looking hotel in pics, reality is way different (we had booked a superior room for 2 nights!)In detail- let me share both pros and consPros- close to airport, undeniably easy to travel back and forth from airport- close to malls like phoenix, calm neighborhood, no traffic noise- food was average, we had a paratha, bread toast and coffee in breakfast- okayish service speed, had to follow up multiple times for our order despite telling them we were in a hurryCons- as the pics show you can broken furniture/fixtures in the room- seepage on the walls, and swollen wooden furniture may give you a hard time if you are even a little bit peculiar (read Normal!) about room smell. We had to ask for additional room freshener sprays.-you will have a good company of cockroaches in the bedroom and bathroom! We spotted multiple in our room roaming around freely - the mattress was visibly uneven and lacked cushion to support the body in a sleeping position, needless to say, we could hardly sleep.The worst part - when we raised the issue to the hotel reception desk, they said all the rooms are more or less of the same quality and they are charging mostly due to its 'good location'.
