Neat and clean hotel at the heart of the city (the next building houses District Collector's office!). They have their own parking, which is mostly encroached (for want of a better word) by visitors in the next door government offices. Desk manager is very attentive and helpful. The only downside of the hotel is their restaurant. The food wasn't up to the mark, neither delicious nor quality.
The rooms and location are great. Connected to main localities of chamba. The food was delicious as well. Enjoyed my stay Thanks! Parking can be a small problem rest is good.
Although we did not stay at the main hotel we went to the restaurant for lunch. Most of the places around are extremely local and unhygienic but this place is very clean co-ordinated amd serves you fresh food. The food was tasty and not super oily or spicy which was a great point compared to all other food places we explored in dalhousie and chamba. The service was very quick and variety good to. In the heart of the city hotel irawati is a great place if you are going to chamba.
The most lovely part of the hotel is the view from balcony and the hotel interior gives the vibe of antiquity...
Right in the heart of chamba opposite to Chaugan n Circuit house chamba but but but its Govt owned so one can assume what kind of rooms n service they have. Last i visited sheets were not clean, a typical odor in room. Go n stay only if u have physically visited otherwise it might not turn the way u want it to be.

It's a HP Govt hotel situated at prime location near old Bus stand and Chamba Chowgan. Stayed many times during my Chamba trip. It's a humble and no frills hotel where one can find Big rooms with basic amenities and a restaurant providing decent culinary items.
It's a new property built near river ravi, the view is beautiful. The staff is very cooperative as i had to departure late they adjusted, the food is good. And the best part is the luxry room's they provide.
