HOTEL IMPERIAL GRAND - Hotel in Ujjain, Sawara Khedi - Ujjain, India

The room are very small, the linnen was unclean, the cutlery provided in the room was very poor quality and dirty. No provision for tissue roll in the bathroom. Bathroom is very small. TV did not work for one day. The staff is untrained and not courteous. Untidy premises. Food is so so. It's not at all value for money.

This hotel is abouit 1.5 km from the Mahakaleshwar temple. Very clean and neat with friendly staff. The morning checkout time is a bit early at 10AM, this could a bit later as well at 11AM or 12 noon. Breakfast quality and spread is OK but can be improved.

Pathetic Service by Imperial Restaurant staff...they treat judge customers by clothes they wear....Though i have paid 1 separate room charges for my driver but hotel staff has treated him as their own servant and not as guest...very very poor & Pathetic services...Rooms are good...location is good...but They really need to work on their staff quality

Great place to stay for individual, couple or with family. Located on the main road of ujjain. Also food of the restaurant is also gud. Quantity and rate are higher side but you can afford it. Overall rating 4/5. Satisfied with hotel staff and services

The hotel is situated at 5-10 minutes from the Railway Station as also the Mahakaleshwar Temple, so the location is perfect - not in the midst of the city and not far away from it. The rooms are good and spacious, food is good and the service is great.

BEWARE.. NO NO NO !!! Mr. Khan (owner) please note that we would give 0 stars but that was not an option. Paid Rs. 4550.00 per night and were told we booked budget hotel. It was a nightmare and disaster stay that we have ever had. The hotel sells themselves as a 3 star property, but provide nothing at all. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. There were cockroaches and mosquitoes in the room, with dirty, stained linen. The sitting mini couch had dirty fabric. Got only 2 bottles of water, they don't provide hand towels, soap & shampoo dispensers are broken and you don't know which dispenser has what. There is no hot water in the sink, no housekeeping provided on day 2, garbage was full, bathroom was wet, used towels were in the bathroom, no water to drink, made request at least 3-4 times at the reception but to deaf ears. We were on our own, to the extent that morning of check out we had requested hot water for 6 a.m. and got nothing till my wife personally went to their dirty pantry and carried hot water in a jug herself. Will never never advice anyone to stay here ever. Hope it will help future travelers to not get fooled from their fancy building on the websites. Regards, Vikas Gulati

The hotel is located at an excellent spot, public transportation is easily available from there at any time of the day. The food of the hotel's restaurant is good as per Ujjain's standards. The staff is accommodating. Some down sides are: The plumbing of the hotel is old, although I didn't face any leaking faucet, etc. Overall the hotels towels and bedsheets also felt slightly worn out, but clean nonetheless. I had one bad incident. The bedsheet under the comforter had a hair. On complaining, they however changed it.

3 star because of bad service. I stayed in hotel for two days. In terms of cleanliness and room interior it was good but I have very bad experience with the service. If you call housekeeping for any service it takes minimum half an hour. Hot water was also not available. I tried to call multiple times and got the standard answer that they will get it checked for hot water. On second day I booked cab from hotel travel desk only (Shri Krishna Tours & Travels) for Omkareshwar and had pathetic experience. We booked Tavera and car condition was so bad that two times we had to get down and push the car. As it was road through mountain and car condition wasn't good, AC was turned off. On returning we requested driver to take stop at restaurant for dinner but he refused as he said he was getting late and had another trip though it was only 8.45 in might when we reached to the destination.
