HOTEL HOMESTAY INN - Hotel in Ahmedabad - Ahmadabad, India

It's very close to the airport and we had a long layover hence stayed here for half a day. The staff was polite and it was budget friendly. Recommended for long layovers as it is very close to the airport or if you are looking for budget stays.

I rarely do that but perhaps this will save some future travelers from staying out of this place.... First on the bright side - room and service is ok as per local standards, now here come the buts. Location-wise it was supposed to be good place to sleep before flight. Technically walking distance from airport (18 mins) but it was simply impossible to sleep there! There was so much noice going until 2 am (and my flight was at 5 so I haven't sleep a minute). Just under my window, there was: - laud disco music with lot of bass - drunk local people shouting - lot of traffic and as you can expect in India all time horning - some explosions sound (probably from fireworks) - noisy planes (for this you can't blame hotel if you want it to be close to airport) And foremost a lot of dogs. As soon as there was the softest movement they all started to bark and howl... Sound isolation didn't exist. Not sure about other rooms but stay away from room 103....

The only good thing here is location, had it been far from airport I am 200% sure nobody would've chosen. The problem started when they charged us full amount that is charged for one day, even though when said we will hardly stay 12hrs. We compromised and agreed, now our flight was delayed and further delayed for 3 hrs so we stayed for 13hrs instead of 12hrs and they were calling us and asking us to leave ASAP as per our agreement also the person who served us food asked us to checkout, I mean u just gave food n how can u ask to leave aren't we supposed to eat? so we ate in haste checked out in 13hrs even though flight was delayed further, now I requested them to extend our stay for at least two more hours the owner said he will charge more than 70% of the total day fare for 2hrs, although many rooms were vacant, I mean seriously? If u keep aside ur money looting attitude and think on humanitarian perspective how is it fair to charge 1000k for 2more hrs ??? I denied and stayed at the reception. For next 2.30hrs!! They didn't even bother to ask for water, or even think off providing a room in a little lesser amount, Forget about hospitality and being thoughtful to the needs for their guest!! They have this stern face and extremely insensitive way of thinking. They cheat, they loot and the food was saltless plus super expensive. I Would ask y'al to stay at the airport lounge on a layover of 12-16 hrs! Trust me it's cheaper and the food is unlimited and free for 3 times. u also get place to sleep. For me, I am now okay to stay far from airport but never this!! advice to the owner - Since u guys are near to airport and flight times are flexible kindly adjust to the times and be a little understanding to your guests needs because they are your source of bread and don't be so rigid on your checkin and checkout time as a true transit hotel, you will definitely grow more!

A Dal fry which has no salt is served at Rs 225. Rooms have no ventilation. Spending a night has been tough. MMT shows 2500 per night, but on reaching, the manager says its 4400. I would rather spend more money and stay away from this. We all want to have a good time.

Its a great place to stay if you have a early flight. Great location - close to airport, sabermati river walk and plenty of food options. They do have cab services anytime in very affordable prices. Mr. Rahul Sharma was always there to help us. Happy to come back here.

Hotel room was good, spacious even. Approx 1.5km distance to airport. AC functioning and good breakfast facilities available.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was also convenient, with easy access to attractions and dining options. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay.

Rooms are not cleaned at all. Very very dirty. You have to clean it yourself. Location is also very bad. Not fall for low budget hotel trap. If you are going for trip to Ahmedabad, look for a better hotel for your peace of mind.
