Decent hotel with very classic architecture. Just 10 minutes walk from Shimla Kalka railway station. But it is all uphill towards the hotel. Cab can take you right upto the main gate of the hotel. It is on the mesum road of Shimla. If you are using Kalka Shimla toy train, this hotel may be a good option. Pet friendly as I presume because there is a mid sized, very friendly, absolute gorgeous dog right on the lobby. Don't forget to pet him . Now to the room. They are big enough, warm enough but not clean enough. Room service is good. Our room was non view, so I can't say about the view from the room. But view just outside the hotel is nice. Bathroom is big but like 85% clean. So my verdict, will visit again.
We went on a short trip to Shimla and landed at this hotel . We were surprised by the size of the room and the wooden decor. The view was commendable. The staff and the owner were very hospitable. Would surely recommend to stay at this property if you are at a budget and looking for a room with the view of the mountains.
Average room, bath room had leakage. Location wise it is good. Owner is hands on guy and available in premises most of the time. It took them 30 mins to serve a tea. This place had some renovation going on so it looked like under construction site. No lifts. Congested parking area.
One of the good stay in Shimla. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are huge in size and lovely look from there balcony. Slightly need to improve morning needs related to bathroom facilities. But, I really recommend to the people's who searching good stay on reasonable price in Shimla.
If you are planning to visit Shimla for the first time and travelling by your personal vehicle, definitely check this property. Yes i am changing my review after my last stay which didn't ended up well, but now hotel Harsha did improved a lot and and the breakfast they provide is good and the staff is friendly too. Right now I'm staying in it and I'm enjoying the view, so over all ill score hotel Harsha 8 out of 10.
