Hotel Gurukrupa - Kathiyawad Ne Kangare - Vegetarian restaurant in Sasunavghar - Palghar, India

At the onset this place doesn't seem to be managed by Gujarati/Kathiyavadi management. The so called 'Kathiyavadi food' served here has a tinge of Punjabi taste in almost all the dishes.The quality of food, buttermilk etc.has deteriorated as compared to our previous visit. The hotel doesn't accept card payment.The level of cleanliness needs improvement. During the rush hours, the staff literally struggles while providing services to the patrons. It would be better in the interest of general public that sanitisers be provided as a part of standard covid protocol. There are many other options on the highway which can be tried.

We decided to try out this highway side eatery that has primarily Kathiyawadi dishes on its menu. It has a typical dhaba style seating which can be a bit uncomfortable for some folks. The service was average at best. We had Sev Tamatar, Kaju Tikka Masala & Dal Khichdi here. The quantity was very disappointing for all of them and the taste also left a lot to be desired. The Sev Tamatar simply had large chunks of tomato in it, which didn't look appetizing at all. Also, the khichdi was a bit bland..

The food was really amazing, good Quality. It serves only vegetarian food with Gujarati taste and a variety of Gujarati dishes are available for food lovers. Must try Chhas (Buttermilk) and jalebi with rabadi here.

Some years back the taste was truly authentic Kathiawadi but now after adding Punjabi, Chinese and some fry dishes I guess they have loosed their traditional taste for which we had visited.... not impressed this time.

Great food at reasonable prices with fast service. Value for money.

This place located beside Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway 15min away from fountain hotel I had a very wonderful experience place has very good ambience like a dhaba should be clean and tidy all age groups can go over there trear their tastebuds with flavourful and tastiest kathiyawadi delicacies like Sev tameta , lasuniya aalo, rotli, khichdi hot piping jalebis, that too in dhaba style

It's been consecutive 2 years, we have been to Kathiyawad Ne Kangre Dhaba aka Hotel New Kathiyawad. Good food_tasty , proper dhaba to NH48 connected. Roti, bhaaji, Rice, Khichdi, chaas we have ordered & it made our day.. So yumm.. Check out photos for your reference.

I was there almost 5 years ago and that time there was i ate amazing food. But recently i visited this place and now the food quality and taste was very bad than earlier.
