Had a pleasant experience in Gulmarg house. Service boys were awesome and happy to help with whatever needed. Rooms are good with 24hrs heater and water heater systems. Food is good - both dinner and breakfast had a huge spread. Location is calm and serene. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Enjoyed our stay here. Everything in the hotel was very clean and the food was also great. But the best part is the service. Everyone from the hotel staff was really nice. Thanks Rocky, Danish and everyone else from the staff for taking good care of us.
It's my 3rd stay since 2018 and i was surprised how this house is well maintained and improved. They have A/C and central heating now. We had very nice breakfast and dinner and the staff is always friendly and helpful. This the best Hotel option in the Gulmarg aerea. Great value for money.
We had stayed at the hotel for 2 nights from 21st July'23 to 23rd July'23. The hotel is located at a beautiful and quiet place with greenery all around. The service was very good. The buffet breakfast as well as the dinner was very good. The staff were very friendly and the room service was very prompt. The only minus point is that there is no lift.

Our recent stay at Hotel Gulmarg House left much to be desired. As a group of six, we had high expectations for a comfortable and pleasant experience, but unfortunately, our hopes were dashed from the very beginning. First and foremost, cleanliness should be a fundamental aspect of any hotel stay. Regrettably, our bed was far from clean, making us question the hotel's commitment to maintaining hygienic standards. The staff's behavior was anything but warm and accommodating. Despite booking a room with a balcony a month in advance and reiterating our preference, we were given a room without one. It seemed as though our request fell on deaf ears, leaving us with a sense of disregard for our preferences. One evening, during dinner, the staff decided it was an excellent idea to subject everyone to an impromptu DJ session, turning the dining area into an unexpected dance floor. While we were perplexed by this bizarre choice, the icing on the cake was the hotel staff's silent response when fellow guests created a ruckus by playing loud music. Apparently, double standards were the order of the day at Hotel Gulmarg House. And let's not forget the hotel manager, whose approach to resolving our grievances was a masterclass in the art of avoidance. Instead of addressing the issues at hand, he chose to engage in a fruitless argument and suggested that we simply "adjust" to the situation. This lack of accountability and professionalism left us deeply disappointed. Overall, our stay at Hotel Gulmarg House was a rollercoaster of letdowns and unmet expectations. We expected much more from a supposedly reputable establishment. We hope that this review serves as a warning to other potential guests and a reminder to the hotel management that customer satisfaction should be their top priority. We certainly won't be returning to Hotel Gulmarg House and will be looking for a more welcoming and competent accommodation for our future visits to the area.
Stayed here for a day in deluxe room in summer (September) The rooms were spacious, clean and very well maintained. AC was available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a last minute tour of Tangmarg in a reasonable cost. Toiletries and clean towels were provided and hot water was available. Breakfast and dinner was available as buffet - the food was good and food timings were also good. The location of the property is Tangmarg approx. 10kms from Gulmarg Gandola. It is approx. 1km from the main road, but the location was calm and quiet and by a small stream.

Beautiful place to stay. Very well located as well. The rooms are cozy with heaters in it as well. Only 1 suggestion i would give is that the bathrooms can have some ventilation, else gets a bit stuffy. Staff is courteous, well spoken and prompt.

Wonderful experience. Lovely location with a good and smiling service. Always helpful. The restaurant service and food is outstanding. You ask for hot water to drink and it comes in less than 10 mins to your room. Room service is fast and efficient.
