Hotel Gulmarg - Hotel in ARTRAC, Shimla - Shimla, India

If you have kid with you then it will seem far from mall road as there is steep road to mall road and stairs. If you are all adults then it's at good location. Plus point is it has car parking. The staff is polite and provides good service. Room we rented was for 1250/- with no view, with round bed and mirrors all around. It was looking beautiful though. There's a shop nearby which serves good maggie and sells biscuits, snacks, water, etc.

One of worst hotels I have ever stayed in whole entire life, because of the following reasons. 1. Low class foam mattress, you can't sleep, but can feel the cot. 2. No drinking bottled water was offered 3. Pillows, towels and blankets were dirty, giving foul smell/odour, unclean. 4. You can't sleep until 3 AM, as this place is located at the Defence area, the Military truck loads and uploads stuffs every night, whole night. 5. The hotel has an open toilet and washroom outside rooms, they're open for hotel staff members that uses whole night, they clear their throats and noses, you hear everything inside your room. 6. The rooms are just built with some plywoods, you hear everything from the neighborhood, next room and even the reception. 7. No internet inside Overall, the hotel will guarantee you that you get no rest, you stay awake and get irritated whole night. Just good for leaving your baggage and parking your vehicle, rest all is negative. For a stay, this is a clear no place.

It is a nice hotel if you are planning for your stay in Shimla. Quite far from the Mall Road. We got a room with mountain view and nice decor. Well maintained, neat and clean room with attached bathroom and free Wi-fi. Food is costly so we preferred our food outside the hotel every time. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

Hotel Gulmarg Regency Location: It is situated very close to shimla mall and bhimakali temple. It is just a few minutes of walk uphill to reach mall road. Hospitality: The support staffs provide excellent service to each of the guests. The hotel is well equipped. It has lift facilities. But the only thing to be not so satisfied about is the dining arrangements. Guests need to walk a minute or two for restaurant which is not of very good quality. This hotel doesn't have common dining area. Accommodation: Rooms of this hotel are clean and have proper interior decoration and the toilets are clean. 24 hours hot water is available. But the beddings could have been better. Conclusion: It is a good option for stay at shimla.

Location of the hotel is probably the only good thing about the hotel you can expect Otherwise Very bad personal experience! Many of the rooms don't have any kind of windows or even slightest ventilation! Moreover, total unprofessional behaviour ... we're late by just 10 mins & they left our pre-booked cab !! Without informing us!! Later a hotel guy saying us to reach station by foot! More than 1 km trekking with luggage! Just horrible! We could've missed the return train also! You can book a ground floor room easily...but don't forget to carry a damn balcony with you!

We stayed in the first floor where in the room there is no balcony or window. There is a claustrophobic atmosphere inside the room. The room looks like a beauty parlour or salon with mirror in all sides of the room. Don't recommend.

location - excellent staff behave- excellent tour help- excellent property- excellent food quality - ok but very costly. good hotel for family. in terms of accebility, safety, city explorer. all things just walk in i will definately use this next time.

Quite old pattern rooms, no ventilation, no hygiene in the rooms, provided blankets & towels were having smell. Congested architecture.
