Hotel Green Valley - Hotel in Gundlupete, Vijayapura - Chamarajanagara, India

Green valley has been a worst experience for me and my family in a while. The room is way below standard levels, the white blankets were not cleaned or changed and had turned slightly brown. All this is topped by the staff(receptionist) attitude. He was the worst of all with a 'do not care' attitude. We paid double the money for the room and the service was poor. We asked for a remote to use TV, the man handing the remote said it may or may not work. He can not do much. Later in the evening we phoned him to order food, his response was that he is busy and asked to order at hotel directly. When I walked down notice that he was busy chit chatting. Exceptional service and hospitality does not exist in his dictionary. This has been a very bad experience overall, advice never to go to this place.

Very worst experience. We booked this Hotel Green Valley online for 4 persons (2 adults + 2 children). When we went and saw the room there was only one bed asked us to share the one bed by all. Shocking!!!. They said hot water from 6 am but no hot water unto 7.30 am we leave the hotel. And one one picked my call out of 3 numbers. Very worst experience, family please don't go.

It's a malayali hotel and this is probably the last decent hotel you can find before entering Bandipur forest area limits. So it's good to take rest, have some food and then get going. The food is just okayish and the prices are also okayish. They have a lot of ample parking space even for tourist buses.

We went for a brunch , ordered ghee roast, but received a precooked one, prabably cooked in the morning. Curries weren't good and tea too. Spacious and good atmosphere

Taste wise is ok. Not too bad.. But in this hotel i didn't see the cleanliness. Hygiene is very important to every hotels.

Food and parking is ok. Meals is expensive on comparison with kerala..Washroom is worst. Untidy taps, no wash basins for kids. Even adults are unable to operate the taps well because of the height.

The location is good but the services are pathetic power backup is not available. We booked a room for 4 hours during which the power went of 3 times and the air conditioner was pathetic, paying for a ac room is worthless here.

Lunch @ green valley.. Veg meals, ghee rice both were good.. Service is good.. Hand wash area should be more neat.. Food was good..
