HOTEL GREEN PALACE - Hotel in Thanjavur - Thanjavur, India

We had a pleasant and memorable stay in Green Palace. We had booked queen's suite which was spacious, neat and clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. The locality is quiet and peaceful.

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay with my family. Its an One / two star rated hotel. These are apartments converted to hotel. So ideal for families to stay at a reasonable price. Location wise you need to have your own transportation as it is situated outside(4km) Tanjavore with little public transport availability. Room are reasonably clean(what you can expect from a two star hotel). There is a restaurant in the hotel, don't whether it is functional, another restaurant 500m from the hotel at the highway, didn't try it. You won't be disappointed if you know what you be getting, if you expect 3star service then you would greatly disappointed.

We had hired a 2 bedroom apartment, have started hear many a times on the way to Velenkanni, value for money, silent, calm and spacious, good food and service

It was a worst experience we had......lots of cockroaches inside the room and washroom.....ac was not working properly and in the night water was coming out of the ac. Next to our room laundry stuffs were dumped along with used and unused bed sheets pillows cases towels etc. In other words really dont understand why they maintain it so bad. Some children were staying in the rooms were making so much of noise. They have come with their training/ coach We vacated early morning as the place was not comfortable at all for a family

Did not like the property. It's an apartment converted into hotel. Ambience is not good.

Nice to stay with family .ayurvedic traditional ,proffessional oil massage by mr.sunder great relax after long drive.

This hotel is located in the outskirts of Thanjavur city(15min) off the Trichy-Thanjavur-Thiruvarur highway. Despite being easily accessible from the highway, it is a quiet and peaceful location. Sheltered parking available. I booked a King studio for my family(4 adults). Despite the late night check-in, the night duty reception staff was helpful. The family room with 2 bedrooms(balcony attached), 3 bathrooms(1 common), living room(with TV), dining room(balcony attached) and kitchen was clean,cool and big enough to accommodate a family of 4 adults as shown in pics. Tatasky dish TV wasn't working properly at night. The furniture and beds were comfortable. A/C in bedrooms were good. Heater in attached bathrooms were too small in capacity(only 1 mug) to provide sufficient hot water for 1 bucket of water for a shower. But the staff were helpful to provide atleast warm water in a bucket from restaurant kitchen after our request. Despite my stay here during Pongal holidays, did not see any other guests in the hotel but a few cars were there and no one seemed to dine at the restaurant but the ordered breakfast(dosa and poori) served to the room was fine. The restaurant didn't seem like a multi-cuisine one. There was a mini supermarket available because there are no shops available nearby. Overall, everything was good except the non-availability of hot water from heater in bathroom for a morning shower before continuing our trip.
