Hotel Grate - Hotel in Zirakpur - S.a.s Nagar, India

The hotel is Okish. You can spend a day or two here. They provide car parking, room service etc etc. Particularly I did not like the washroom of my room, no hygiene and looked like they didn't care to clean it. However I checked other rooms and they were decent. But the room has AC, Geyser and has small basement to conduct ceremonies and functions.

hotel is good.. little 90s type touch but clean n spacious,safe, quite big but have no lifts only stairs n is far away on shimla highway from Chandigarh and main Zirakpur centre. Food was not upto the mark rather i will give 1 star out of 5 for food its better you should order from outside. no issues for guests coming n visiting.

Property is old But we'll maintain... Service I'd very Good . Food are really Up to mark. Specially Parking Facility is theirs. I have enjoy my stay . Visit For Budget frndly Hotel.

Hotel experience turned into a horrible nightmare. Don't get fooled by the past reviews. Please read on for details: - First of all, the hotel is surrounded on all sides by many marriage and banquet halls. This is not visible in the photos uploaded by hotel. Loud music plays at least until 2 am. In our case, it did not stop till 4 am. If you plan on getting a good sleep or any kind of sleep at night, I wish you good luck as you are going to need tones of it. - The hotel manager, on telling him that the law restricts loud music after 11 am, he asked us to call 100 and complaint. He did not even have a basic attitude of sympathy for the terrible night the guests of his hotel have to go through. - Most of the staff members roam around; god knows whom they are looking to scare. - We were charged an illogical amount for adding an extra guest, which we agreed to given we are provided a bed. They just added a small mattress on the ground and on insisting for a bed, the management shouted at us and asked us to vacate at 11:30 at night. - The washrooms are full of insects, spider webs and open sewage potholes (refer images) not to mention the shaking bathroom sink. Sleeping on the ground is a risk which the management did not pay any attention to even after bringing this to their notice as a request. - The corridors are full of smells of **** at nights. The linens and towels were an icing on the cake. - The management shouted on us during the stay innumerable times asking us to vacate as we requested for a bed instead of sleeping on the ground. They did not even bother we had senior citizens and elderlies staying with us.

Though you might find Hotel Grate a little bit pricey but then you get what you pay for. I found the rooms nice and clean. Their manager and staff are polite too. I had a good experience here. Will visit here again and hopefully will book their hall for family functions.

the hotel was nice, the room was good, clean and tidy and had enough space. the bathroom was spacious and clean. the checkin process was quite smooth and the breakfast was great. i really enjoyed the service of the hotel. it is a good option to stay here in a convenient budget.
