Few hotels take care to provide non spring mattresses. This is one of them. Liked the comfort of the bed mattress. Balcony overlooking mountains gives a decent view though not direct. Food was good. Staff was courteous. What I didn't like . Excessive water pressure on basin taps which actually spills out. Soap etc were too basic and no tray provided in bathing area.
Stayed here for three nights and both rooms had flooding issues in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast and dinner is very sub par for the price. It's also far from the markets but has a nice view of the mountains. The staff are pretty useless and the hotel lacks basic foods such as cheese.
This was quite a comfortable stay with great amenities and very helpful staff. The property was beautiful with a lush green garden.

I really enjoyed my stay @ GRAND KHASDAN, service was really good, staff were polite and friendly. Food was genuinely good and view from balcony was breathtaking.
So writing this review after staying there for 3 nights and 4 days! They definitely deserve a 5 star! 1. Stuffs are remarkable. Very helpful and honest. They all come from different states and speaks hindi. 2. Great Food! We were served non veg every night and food was genuinely good! Excellent breakfast to start with your day! 3. Rooms are excellent! Not sure of all the rooms but the one we stayed has an oversized covered balcony with excellent panoramic view. Look at my pictures for that! We enjoyed every bit of the stay just because of this balcony. 4. Hot water was available most of the time till late evening if isn't cloudy! They use solar water heater. 5. They have a taxi at the hotel itself and is available with few mins notice! We used to go leh market! 6. Lastly, they also have a free wifi (which actually works) but you may have to go to the lobby at times to get a good signal! Zorawar fort is just minutes away, we actually went there one evening on foot! Certainly recommended!
