Hotel Gomti at Sapru Marg near Hazratganj - Hotel in Lucknow - Lucknow, India

The property is not well maintained. We booked two AC rooms but one AC was not working. The furnitures like almirah and sofa dirty and full of dust. Food is pathetic. Rooms don't have an AC remote and they sent one after so many requests. The lady in reception was a bit rude and you have to really convince her to get any help or service. We have been allotted room no. 101 and 105 on the first floor while the property has at least 5 floors. We requested for higher level floors which she didn't entertain. We booked Super Deluxe rooms to get the maximum facility and comfort but in reality received very poorly maintained rooms with dust and spots on walls with very bad service. Even we were not told that the breakfast is complementary and we freaked out and paid from our pocket to have breakfast. To add more pain to our suffering, in room no. 101 no electric kettle or tea bags were given, water droplets falling from the room#101 toilet ceiling, one tubelight was dead and AC was dead in room#105. People were just careless and ignorant about the malfunctioning and can only suggest you to change the room to a dirtier and unmaintained room. We checked out yesterday morning at 6.30 am.

Had a pleasant experience staying at Hotel Gomti. The rooms were clean, hygienic and spacious.The staff of the hotel were polite and cooperative. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The food served at the hotel was also good. It had a peaceful and safe environment.

Well maintained, hygienic, safe hotel governed by Up government. Staffs are very helpful and venue is spacious. In Indoor huge space and outdoor huge lawn for celebration. Rooms are facilitated and rent is reasonable . From my side i would like to stay always once there

Old, poorly maintained hotel, Plaster & colors chipping off in the room. The breakfast area was filled with mattresses, bedsheets and stacked tables & chairs, even the serving staff were uncaring and not bothered about anything. The quality of breakfast was also not good, with poories dripping with oil. Overall a disappointing experience.

The room was very nice, we stayed in a deluxe room, the decorations and the service was also great however they charge for an extra person's stay separately and again Rs300+ for their breakfast. When the people are checking in with free breakfast, it is expected that when the guests are paying for an extra person, their breakfast is also included along with it. It doesn't make sense to charge them separately for the same service that other guests paying for the stay are getting as an inclusive item.

We had a very horrible stay at hotel Gomti. The room was infested with bed bugs! And they offered a room change with upgrade for which the bathroom was in a dilapidated condition and we saw a few more bugs. They offered another room change and we didn't want to take it up. So at 1.30 am we walked out and checked into another hotel close by!

It's Govt operated hotel Spacious Rooms But Still lacks the Grandeur

This being a govt hotel, the staffs are very casual. The lady at the front office is very courteous. Basic fittings at washroom are broken and despite repeated reminder not corrected. Cleaning and housekeeping are done only on request, though they have plenty of manpower.
