Hotel Golden Gate Deluxe - Hotel in New Delhi - Central, India

This hotel is not recommended in any aspect. The location of this hotel is so congested, that not even any electric rickshaw or toto will be willing to drop you there, which is challenging if you have a number of luggage. The manager is soft spoken, but not at all active. Only thing he knows to collect the whole room rent, the time you enter the hotel. The room 101, which we stayed, is damped. The Ac was not working properly. We didn't had time to check the television though. There were no geaser, only they provided an electric rod for heating water. There were no requsition for room service for food or beverages. Asking for two cups of tea, the manager said to have it from outside, as they don't have any kitchen. The electric plugs were hanging out from there sockets, which is quiet dangerous if you have infants with you. Even at the check out time, the attendents didnot bothered to carry our lugguge. Only advantage is the price, 1200/- for triple occupancy, at Pahargunj, within 2 km from ND railway station. Please stay away, if are traveling with family, and kids.

Manager was helpful and good.But the bedsheet and pillow covers are yellowish and smelly. AC in one room was not working properly though they demand it's working. But the hotel is safe. I saw some reviews about safety that it is not safe for ladies but that's not true.If you have low budget then you can choose this hotel.

This was decent than others in that lane. For those traveling for official work to Delhi, this area is close to railway station. Walkable distance from RK ashram marg metro. Since I stayed in November, non working AC was not a problem. For hot water the reception guy gave an immersion heater. They have a boiler which they turned on the next morning and we had hot water in shower. It's an upscale lodge reasonably priced.

Good hotel at reasonable price compared to other hotels in that vicinity. Great service. Nice and clean rooms than other nearby hotels. Refer to pics of rooms we were allocated. Very well maintained. Nice and Cooperative staffs. Recommended hotel near New Delhi railway station.
