Hotel Golden Dreams - Hotel in Amritsar, Amritsar Cantt. - Amritsar, India

It is very baad room The rooms stink. They are not clean. I requested a non smoking room and both rooms smelled li smoke. Bathrooms were gross and bugs were everywhere! ! The door did not seem secure and was not evened out so bugs got in easily. The second room was full of gnats. Plzz everyone not use hotel

Very BAD experience till now of hotel in Amritsar.. 1. They don't care about Room service You have to call many time for any assistance. 2 There is no A/c Remote in the Room if you feel cold in night time then you have to call receptionist and then they will switch off or on Ac. 3. If you coming on weekend then don't stay in this hotel cause you will be disappointed about Room service even for dinner order or you demanding blanket. 4. You will listen sound of closing door hardly all the night and forget about sleep . 5. No geyser facility available. 6 . If you call for Tea in the Morning they will say that you have to go out Morning Tea.

Very bad experience The person(Rahul) as a receptionist has his attitude on the next level . The staff is rude and harsh to the customer and they even do not bother what problems the customer is facing. Dirty rooms and very stinky beds Bad washrooms uncleaned. We didn't use the room then too the GM ( Shamsher) deducted our half of the rent. Please do not visit this place if you need hygiene and a proper customer service . Thankyou

Worst hotel. I mean Amritsar is such a holy place but these people have made their hotels just to rob people. 2500Rs for a room with broken washroom window, torn blanket. no remote for AC. They switch on and off the AC from reception area. I mean if at night you feel cold then you need to contact reception to increase or decrease the temperature. You can literally hear conversations of people from other room. In 2500Rs they don't even provide water bottle of Rs25. No tea, coffee in the room. And the worst part is that they have guts to stop guests before leaving so that they can check the room as if they are thieves and they will rob their so called room with no facilities and torn blankets. Even when we asked for a simple room, they simply said price for that room is 2200Rs. And they don't even provide hand wash, body wash but 1 bar of soap that too will be so small that you will think that for what purpose we will use this. Also hangers behind the doors are also broken. Please never book this hotel!!!!

Our stay was good and the overall look and facilities were nice but the some things such as telephone was not working, there were no sleepers in the room, Tea was not good and the tv remote was not working properly. Staff over there was very good and humble. If they make sure all the things above mentioned then the stay will be great in this hotel as it is really close to Golden Temple and you can visit whenever you want.

Best part :- Location is very close to golden temple (2mins walk), 5 mins walk to Jalianwala Bagh, 8mins walk to Tribute Mesuem. look wise hotel is nice. Hotel owner and His son at reception is very supportive. Overall 3/5 experience. As I expected 4/5. The Worst part :- 1.Room can be more spacious. 2.Bathroom is the worst part, as it's very small, Taps had leakage when we open,the most water is getting wasted, while using. 3. Television is the biggest hurdle for them, while our staying there, TV doesn't not works, on a continuously basis, I had to do follow ups. 4. Most of the rooms don't had balconies or any kind of ventilation. Suggestion: Kindly don't be in making money, as I told reception manager to arrange us the transportation to go to railway station in morning 6am. They arranged that, the good part, but that auto charged us 200 INR for station, as station is hardly 3-4 KM's. Looks like some commission is tie up with that auto owner.And I have to pay that. Anyways thanks for the support Golden Dreams, All the best wishes, Will Think to come again and will see those still the issue and service will be same or much better at that time. Very satisfied: 1. 5 minutes walk to Golden temple and Jalianwala Bagh 2. Cosy A/C rooms. Neat and clean 3. Cordial staffs Other tips: 1. Hotel does not has kitchen, but they can arrange food from outside. Anyways, nearby place has plenty of options 2. Cars are not allowed in peak times. So you may need to get down from cab and walk or take rickshaw to the hotel

Good hospitality in budget price. Most appropriate place near gurudwara sahab. Its literally just at footstep distance from jalllianwala bagh and golden temple. Though the facilities are limited but the important part is it has all the basic amentues. Owner was also helpful and humble. Overall enjoyed my stay hope to come back soon.
