Hotel Golden Crown - Lodging in Rishikesh - Pauri Garhwal, India

They charge premium price for a sub-standard hotel. Very difficult to locate. Had to walk for about 500 metres to reach it as private vehicles are not allowed nearby, about which hotel never informed even on asking in advance. Beds are not comfortable and hygienic. AC hardly cools Definitely not recommended

We spent five nights here. We had a room on the first floor with a balcony and windows on two sides. The room had a wardrobe, desk and chair. The bathroom was big and everything worked. Since the hotel is off the street, it is quiet and we were able to sleep well. Everything was clean. The bed had covers for the mattress, pillow and blanket - which is really not typical in India. The owners were always friendly and polite. In terms of location and price it was a real hidden gem and we had a good time. Nevertheless, it is a budget hotel and you cannot compare it with any European hotel.

Worst Hotel, bad location, no facilities, rude staff...save yourself and your trip by not booking this hotel...

After booking no show when we reached there,they denied to avablity of rooms.very bad experience

Don't waste your money staying at this worst property with pathetic owner who don't have sense to talk to the guests...Horrible experience guysss and that owner is rude and manners less person told me what do I do if you paid Rs 1700/- for the room it's your call not mine I can give you the room we have left and don't care about what you have selected on Agoda site. That's at midnight 1am with 2 females I had to spend the night at his scary room and even Agoda didn't take any action for the same....Buddy looters

Worst hotel I visited ever, they are frauds, I booked the hotel and made all payment in advance and when I reached hotel they told me that they dont have rooms also were not willing to return money, similar thing happened with other customer also, they must be penalised.

Overall experience was very good staying there

The staff are nice, the water are hot, you get towels if you ask for them. The only problem is the owner who is very unhelpful and always trying to make money out of everything and also asked for us to pay more for our room claiming "we need to understand him because he is ill and at a hospital" when we asked the staff where he is and how he is doing if he is healthy then they said "he is just fine and don't listen to him he just wants more money" That is a sad and low thing to do and i feel so bad for the staff who have such owner. I wish this place better.
