HOTEL GOD GIFT - Hotel in Amritsar, Amritsar Cantt. - Amritsar, India

The condition of the room was very poor. The price they charged was not at all appropriate with respect to the service provided. The photos given on the site was exact opposite to what was being provided. The rooms were stinking and were not clean. No proper ventilation in the bathroom and they were not at all clean which made it very misty and gross and even soap was not provided. After repeated requests to clean the washrooms, no housekeeping was available and the excuse they gave was that no staff was present at the moment. Beds were so uncomfortable and even the bedsheets and blankets were stinky n filled with dust. Moreover the hotel staff was also very disrespectful and the services were disagreeable. Overall experience of the hotel was very disgusting and filthy. Strictly Do not recommend this hotel. After all this we were not uncomfortable to stay in that hotel, so we changed it the last moment. And ironically we booked another hotel at the same price with 4 - star facility with a suite room and a buffet breakfast.

Staff is nice and coperative ,rooms were clean and Lift is available. Near to Golden Temple Max 5 min to reach Gurdwara Sahib. also approachable by car. must book this hotel while planning for Visit to Shri Golden Temple as budgeted hotel.

It is a good budget hotel. .Location is very good . Just behind Jallianwala Bagh and opposite Golden Temple. If your purpose of the trip is more on exploring Amritsar rather than luxury accommodation, then this is the good hotel option for you. d overall hotel staff behaviour is good and cooperative.

Very Good Conditions hotel for family guests. All staff is helpful. We will search in whole night family hotel but not get at lasly when we gone to hotel god gift we will get atmosphere of family in hotel.so for families tourists those which are want to visit golden temple always chose hotel god gift .i will when comes to Amritsar always stay in hotel god gift. ALL KINDS OF FACILITIES ABAILBLE IN HOTEL. HOTELS STAFF IS VERY HONEST TOWARDAS GUESTS.

Good location. Average rooms. Poor service. Hairs on bed. Bathroom exhaust not working.

Budget hotel ofcourse but cleanliness n hygiene seemed to be ignored. The bedside phone was so dirty n dust layered dat u wont feel to use. Previous guest's nose mucus was left to b stuck to the wall. The vertical wall corners had cobwebs n small hair stuck to them. Hot water didnt show up.. Prince came after 30- 35 mins of calling.. N put something on. Hot water came but entire bucket gave an electric shock alongwith the flowing water. Had to switch the geyser off before taking bath. Hotel is not concerned about safety.. Open wires hanging below the tv. The bedsheets, pillows n covers were dirty. Haf called for them to be changed... Who turned up after 30-35 minutes. N got some sheets n pillow covers which were even more dirty n stained. Upon showing Prince these.. He started explaining that if the sheets are white they will have few stains n cant be pure white. Upon asking for manager, he left n said my manager will gv some new pillow covers.. He got another 7 of them after 30 minutes n yet very stained n dirty. I gave up. I had told him to clean the wall dat was dirty.. He went without doing. After an hour two ladies came up asking u want the room to be cleaned? So tired, i refused them to come in. The pillows were smelling n hd stubborn stains. I had to return the cushion as it looked soo very dirty. The wc extension was very dirty n seemed never cleaned. The dustbin was dirty n not cleaned after the previous guest. Felt very dirty.. Hope the hotel takes it positively to improvise..!

Average room and uncomfortable bed. However the staff are great as they try and accommodate your every need. Shower was very small but the best shower i have used during my stay in India. The location is great. Only reccomend this place if you are after a budget hotel near golden temple

If your purpose of the trip is more on exploring Amritsar rather than luxury accommodation, then this is the good hotel option for you. I am not giving 5 star because it should improve it's service as there was delay in room service and bedsheet was dirty little bit. But still overall hotel staff behaviour is good and cooperative.
