Semi-known: I only looked. I have not stayed here. Walk-in asking price is INR1K for double and 500 for single. Double room (X2 twin beds) is very cramped and has a window. Single rooms w/ a small window to reception could be noisy with customer traffic. Also cramped. Hot water by bucket service as is normal in a cheap old hotel. I would not stay here even to pack my things or take a shower. Even in an emergency I would walk down to Capital. I was intrigued by the name 'helper of the poor', the affectionate name of a 17th century ex-Muslim ruler of Manipur in the Northeast. He embraced Hinduism. Hotel appears to be Hindu and Christian-operated. If this is important for you to know, now you do. Pleasant evening manager.
Nice hotel to stay as a budget hotel.but problem is they always push customer to take double bed room though he is single. Must bargain before taking room.
