Hotel Ganga Basin - Hotel in Haridwar - Haridwar, India

The hotel offers an average experience, but its pricing resembles that of a three-star hotel. Nearby, I found better hotels available at a 1/4th of this price when I checked with neighbouring accommodations. Upon check-in this Hotel, the room was not cleaned, although the person seated near the reception assured me otherwise. The next day, when I inquired about extending the check-out time by 2-3 hours and offered to pay a prorated amount, the hotel manager refused, insisting on a full-day charge. Given these experiences, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially considering the availability of numerous better options within 200 meters of this hotel and Har ki Paudi at significantly lower prices. The only advantage I found was the view of Har ki Paudi from the hotel's terrace and hotel staffs are polite.

It's a budget hotel for quick stay and moving on to your journey. We were there for just one night and selected it just because of it's proximity to Har ki Pauri aarti ghat which is like a t mins walk.

I am not satisfied at all. Ist size of room and bathroom is very small. I booked a room for 3 adults who can hardly accommodate in this small room. One bed is provided and room filled no other space avl. Size of wash room is also very small. 2. Quality of service is concerned, wiFi is not reachable in room. You need to visit to counter on many Occasions but then also solution is not avl 3. conveyance from railway station is not available u need to walk with luggage to reach hotel though hotel is situated near River Ganga and from room Ghat of Maa Gange is visible. 4. Food service not avl.

Amazing location! Very clean, hygienic and well maintained. Terrace faces Maa Ganga river. Management and staff are very cordial and warm. Must stay. Only one downside - this place doesnt have inhouse kitchen service. Other than that, it will be a splendid stay, if in Haridwar. Request for the river view room :D

First of all I am very much thankful to the owner Rahul ji to make my trip memorable. He helped me beyond his limit to book a beautiful, clean and spacious room for my family. I really enjoyed the view of Har Ki Pauri's river view from my hotel room and this is the best part of our trip. The behaviour of the owner and his hotel staffs are really outside. Lalit Ji one of his hotel staff helped us to get our luggages in our 3rd floor single room. Me, my wife and my 1 year old baby girl's memorable trip goes to them only who made them happy and satisfied after giving their great hospitality. I do refer this hotel to each and every travellers. Please go there and match my wordings.

very close to Har Ki Pauri. good view from room. i stayed in room number 3 which had a view from window. room is quite old which needs maintenance. otherwise very nice experience. though the bathroom was not clean and very small and uncomfortable to sit for morning work. staffs were overall nice. didn't interacted much though. but faced a strange issue. due to some renovation work all the switch board in the room was not functioning for the whole day for which my work was getting hampered. hotel must have a resturant which is really missing. but overall a good stay. nice room with great view.

when we entered the room, i was surprised that Seepage was shown on the walls, Dust was on the chair, table and some parts of the bed, I said to the attendant to clean that, he said the cleaner was not there, The linen was ok but the quilt was not looking clean, one electric kettle was available in the room but that is not cleaned and when I was asked to clean he again denied, Room was not cleaned dust and other things was easily found in room everywhere, The hotel manager and staff were not supportive and the manager was a rude person, one more thing I want to share is that they close the hotel main door at 10 pm, that is not mentioned anywhere, it was very surprising to us. AC and TV were not working, when I asked again they said they would fix it but not yet.
