Hotel Gandhara - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

We were overall satisfied with our 3 night stay here during April 2023. Hotel location is good, it's on popular CT Road, with shops and eateries nearby. Auto and Toto available from early morning to late night. Sea beach is very close by, about 5 minutes walkable. The station is also not far. The hotel is overall decent, well maintained. They have a swimming pool, which is not very large but quite nice. You could also sit by the pool for casual chit chat or drinks. We found hotel service to be good and prompt. Also the restaurant is good. The food was good, with good portions. The food wasn't very spicy but tasty. The room wasn't that great though. It was pretty small, not very well ventilated and there were some minor cleanliness issues. But the later was resolved when we talked to the stuff. Some of the stuff members could have been a bit more courteous, but no major issues there. We got our booking within reasonable rates, so we found the stay overall value for money. NOTE: Breakfast is not free, at least not with every tariff, as mentioned in hotel details!

Worst hotel in my life till date, very arrogant owner no etiquette, bad food, bad cleanliness. Never stay even if hotel wants to pay. They will rob your peace on vacation

The manager was an illiterate person. Who have harassed my family member as well as maliciously commented on our driver because he was Muslim. People like these spread hatred. I will recommend everyone to never visit this hotel. As a frequent visitor to Puri, I will suggest everyone to never to be here worst place to be at specially the manager should be atleast minimum educated

Pathetic experience at the property, would have given less than 1 star if possible. The owner has an extremely high handed attitude and not able to comprehend how such people enter into the hospitality business. He didn't hesitate to pick up a fight for a payment which didn't go through due to a problem with the credit card network. Do yourself a favour and avoid staying here at all costs!!

Horrible experience here. The rooms aren't up to the mark according to the price, there's no view whatsoever. The service is pathetic. They've only posted pictures of the pool and the mango tree which is quite deceiving because the rooms and the restaurant are very sub-par.

Visited this hotel with family. Below are my comments. Welcome by staff - Excellent Checkin - Very fast and customer friendly. Location & Parking - situated just opposite to sea beach. Not even a min away. Busy road. very difficult to park vehicle. Although the staff will help. But can't take out car very frequently. Rooms - Small, clean, hygienic and well maintained. Service- Good. All the staff are very cordial and helpful. Kitchen- Nice and clean. You can order anything in the menu. Pool - Available. Small and well maintained. You will feel like jumping inside immediately. Ambiance- Good and privacy is well maintained across. Not rush at all. Very calm and quiet place. Price - May vary depending upon season. But I paid little higher as per the hotel website. You can try some other apps to get a better deal. Only parking is the issue else I would have rated 4* Felt very safe with family here. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an calm and quiet place to enjoy with family and friends.

The manager was pathetic. They refused to give us utensils because their kitchen was closed. We didn't ask for food but only utensils. After paying 3500 per night they were like "order paper plate from zomato" and they were also like "aap kaise plate order karoge woh aapka problem hai". After a lot of quarrelling, they gave us utensils. Worst experience. Room was okayish and parking too was okayish
