Hotel Gajkaran Haveli - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

Scam unprofessional hotel. Do not book this hotel at any cost. Stay in temples but do not book this property. I need to specify something here the property is very unprofessional /Cheater. They will accept the booking and will cancel at the last minute. Do not book this property I repeat. I have proofs I called the property before booking that are they available to cater on the dates i asked the manager said and make fake promises. But then later on just before my trip. They cancelled the booking. And make my trip informed me regarding this. Please do not book this I repeat.

The truth about Gajkaran Haveli! The hotel charged us exceptionally high price (can get a 5 star hotel at same price in off season) for very small rooms without basic amenities like hot water, towels and toiletries. The washrooms are very small and there is no water geyser. We had to keep asking the hotel staff to give us basic supplies. TV in the room was also not functional. There was no one available at reception desk for resolving queries. The staff was also minimal and untrained. Since we visited in December peak season the price point would have been justified if we would have received at least basic facility of hot water. This was my worst hotel experience till date. The only thing good about the hotel is that it is nearby lake Pichhola and various restaurants are at walking distance.

We stayed for 3 nights in this property. The owners are friendly and they accomodated all our requests. We were given a huge room with 2 beds with air conditioning at such an affordable price. The place is very near to the tourist attractions. The hotel and the locality is safe for girls. Amazing experience and a perfect budget stay.

All good reviews about this hotel are totally fake!!! The hotel rooms are very small and lack basic amenities like geyser, towels and toiletries. The washrooms are very very tiny and there is no hot water for bathing in winters. They gave us dirty blankets and they had no extra pillows/ towels. No cable connection. Power cut. The window of our room broke and they didn't do anything to get it repaired. There was no one available at reception to help. They don't have any staff Just 1-2 helpers. This was my worst hotel experience till date. The only thing good about the hotel is that it is nearby lake Pichhola and has Wi-Fi.

Really nice place to stay with friends or family.Staff is really good and will help you with anything. Food was awesome but little bit expensive as they prepare it only on your demand. Overall stay was really nice, mainly all the places are at a walkable distance.

For Gajkaran there is no words this is amazing property in the center of the lake, situated in the heart of the city udaipur and i also loved there hospitality they treat us like there on home guest and they are also very familiar to us and yes we suggest u if u come here u dont check anything just book this property that set and they served very fresh meal with amazing drinks and they also welcomed u with a sweet drink. Overall I loved this property very much and once again thank u for all the service which u gave us and a big thank u to the pradip ji and pritam ji (the hosts)

Budget friendly room at great location. If you're looking for budget rooms with a great view, this is the best option for you. all main places are nearby the hotel. Room is not so big but okay spacious for 2 persons. cleanliness and view from the room
