Room in 3rd floor made senior citizen suffer climbing, no lift or service, mosquitoes everywhere, heated roof, no ventilation, no service made life horrible. Please do not do this to anyone else.
A bikepackers review: After a little negotiation, they let me take my bike into my room. The room is clean. They provide laundry service. They had no problems with my checking out at 4AM. You will need to carry your bicycle up a flight of stairs if you want to put it in your room, otherwise, if you are travelling with panniers, you may need to try and lock it downstairs. There are always staff around downstairs but lots of locals sleep through anything and I wouldn't be leaving a high value bike in that area. They charged me 5 rupees to photocopy my passport - not a big deal, just another thing to slow the checkin process down. Bucket shower was great. Aircon worked well. Typical uninspiring window to nowhere - which is what you tend to get in these places. Total cost was 1200 rupees. I would stay there again on a bikepacking trip, or consider somewhere a little more out of town if I was on a motorcycle and didn't mind taking my bike to dinner.

Best place to stay in Kumbakonam. Room is clean and safe. No disturbances of any kind. Service was extraordinary. Employees are kind and respectful. BEST stay for family.
Rooms are neat and clean. Can stay a day without any issues. Situated in nice location, very near to bustop and temples. Nearby good hotels to eat. Response from owner is good. Very decent cost to stay. There is no geyser in rooms, if it is available, then it will be good. TV remotes will be in reception, we need to ask for it. It will be good if it is kept in the room itself.
Worth staying. Require room rent to be more nominal. Spent 30 mins at the Hotel. Due to my emergency we left immediately, room rent refunded after deducting nominal charges. Require better service from staff.
