Hotel Drona (GMVN) - Hotel in Dehradun - Dehradun, India

I recently stayed at Hotel Drona, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were big and spacious, providing ample room for me to move around and relax. The room was also well-maintained, clean, and had all the basic amenities one could need during a stay. However, the only downside of my stay was the mattress. It was very hard, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I found it uncomfortable and it affected my overall experience at the hotel. Despite this, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Drona for its spacious rooms and convenient location. However, if you prefer a softer mattress, you may want to consider bringing your own or requesting a change at the hotel.

I had stayed in this place with family on 21 sept 2023, a family room for Rs 1000/-, after a long travel we reached here for a relax and an over night stay, to our surprise it was so pathatic, it had no proper bedsheet the bathroom all was dirty, the bucket and mug had all the dirt in the world, and please dont open the cupboard it had all the cockroachs... On the corner... Rooms are all old and pale in condition, i thing at this price some other hotels with all facilities will be there, GMVN in one way getting a bad reputation through HOTEL DRONA @ DERADUN... So please keep in mind before booking....and dont see the pictures posted on the site...

Not value for money . This is excellent property could have been maintained property with proper attention for customer care .

One of the worst and neglected GMVN properties. Room condition is poor and pathetic. Bathroom is small and faucet is not working properly. There is no shower. Government should look into this. Other properties located in remote area like, Harsil, Gangotri, Uttarkashi , Janki Chatti are far better than this Dehradun Drona hotel.

Very bad experience, the rooms and toilets are very poorly maintained, staff are not service minded. The breakfast was just to fill the stomach and expensive, not tasty at all. Not a place that can be suggested to friends or family. GMVN having so many tourists every year should plan on improving the services.

Excellent staff at reception. Good deluxe rooms. Prices can't be less than what GMVN charges. Ample parking. Located bang on main road connecting Saharanpur bypass with Rajpur road. Best suited for families. A reasonable restaurant. A big thumbs up

Nice hotel in reasonable price but pure Veg restaurant not available. So little disappointing for Vegetarian or Jain people. Also pure veg hotel not available nearby.
