Am writing this review right after checking out from the hotel. This is the worst roomn i have ever booked from trivago. If you are going on a family trip never book. Am Suggesting not to book this room ever. Me and my wife reached the room by 8pm yesterday because of the wrong location set in the map. The guy who talked over the phone doesnt even know the distance from local places to hotel. After reaching the hotel, the staff was a bit drunk i guess. The room was too small, no tv and the bathroom didnt even have lock. And then came the biggest problem, power goes off every 15 minutes. I called the guy over phone and he said he will tell the staff to fix it. But the power went off freequently.we paid 1350 /- for such a bad room booked from trivago. My wife got scared like never before and we had the worst stay ever. I repeat never go to the hotel with family.only the good thing was it was close to the hawah beach.

The Hotel location is very odd. Atleast 1km from the beach. That too while going you would reach fast but while coming it is impossible to walk back as it is quite steep and uphill. Only if you are tight on budget and are unable to find hotels during busy season then go for it. The hotel itself is ok. AC worked fine. Linens ok. TV is ok but mostly south indian channels. Bathroom wasn't well maintained - there was a big earthworm on the floor and the wall was full of ants, which was cleaned though. There is nothing around the hotel. For food or any essential necessity you have to walk uphill (atleast 15mins) to the main road or downhill 1km to the beach. There is absolutely nothing nearby. Hotel staff is ok.
I just visited the room and asked the staff the rate and facilities offferd by the hotel . I noticed there is no television Ac not working. Room was not cleaned so thats why i left from that hotel but the staff of this hotel blocked my car and they charged 500 ruppes .
The staff is cooperative, distance from the beach may be a little trouble at night and you will have hard time finding it if you dont turn on GPS. Overall, it's a nice place for a day or two. AC and TV worked fine and so did hot water.
I stayed at this hotel with my ** for 4 days and there wasn't even a single guest other than us in these four days. Location is remote and this would be a problem especially if you don't have a vehicle. They didn't clean the room nor did they changed the sheets during our stay. The drinking water kept was age old. Curtains were dusty and caused allergic reaction to my **. On the positive side price was cheaper than any other hotel in the area, There is parking space for vehicle, Usually less occupied so more privacy.
Worst hotel.... service is tooo bad.. room are not hygienic low cheap bed. ac not working no television no wifi... too long form tourist places

All is great. Staff was very helping. Miran at reception was very polite and humble throughout our stay. They helped me paying parking costs for driver there too.
Nice hotel. Close to the beach. Rooms clean and spacious. Manager is a very calm and soft spoken guy. He is helpful in nature. The housekeeping guy is ever smiling. He helped us with our luggage early morning at 6 am.
All hotels in Kovalam are beach facing and same to this one as well. Got a decent deal by directly contact with the owner. Adjecent restaurant has best food service. Although room candittion can be better but who cares when beach is near.

Real good gym. If in the area for a long amount of time there are super cheap personal training sessions available. A day pass was 250 rupees, the gym was well equipped with free water.
