Hotel DR Indraaprasthaa - Hotel in Nandyala - Kurnool, India

The rooms are big and well made. However, as expected in smaller towns, the maintenance is a bit lacking. But we did not face any issues and generally had a good time. There is a restaurant in the hotel which is reasonable. A specific issue not about the hotel but the town of nandyal itself is open drains carrying sewage across the town.. This does cause a general stink across town. But in summary DR Indraaprasthaa is probably among the best on offer in Nandyal.

Booked a suite room and checked in at 4 am, enquired for 2 basic services which were hot water and WiFi Hot water was not available whole day and were serving in buckets upon asking. But we have to follow up for that is the condition. Door key doesn't work and we have to call them to open, which they are happy to do. Executive room doesn't work and don't have hot water for which we got charge. Is still a question.

Paid 200 extra for Breakfast as I hv made mistake while booking, didn't mentioned 2nd person name , but the lady allowed to stay. In the morning the guy said need to pay 200 for breakfast. Booking was same amount as 1day earlier I paid. Note- Sometimes PPL need to understand the things why it happened. Your management will not be a billionaire but the act will be remembered.

I visited Mahanandi Temple in Nandyala, so I stayed in DR Indraprastha on 12th November, 2023 and checked out on 13th November, 2023. I had booked 2 suite rooms for the stay with my family. Cons: 2 people from the staff were very rude . Manager(I dont remember the manager name) and the lady in the reception(Sowmya). I have booked 2 suite rooms with a single booking, but they are expecting me to fill 2 different applications for 2 rooms. Not sure what is the logic behind it?. I stayed with Myself, My wife, My Father, My mother and my young son. The staff expected Adhar cards of all the family members. Why are the individual adhar cards required. Generally the person on whom the booking is done should provide the necesary documents during check-in. If the Hotel DR Indraaprasthaa has different rules, they should have mentioned it in the booking details or atleast after the booking is confirmed, they should have informed in advance. In case, If I didn't carry adhar cards of my family members. Should I have look for another hotel after a long journey from other cities? Service is either slow or no response from the management. We requested for Water and Coffee, we didn't get response from the management. There is no parking. My car was parked on road even though they claimed they have parking facility. If they behave this way for the people in suite rooms which are of luxury standards. How will they behave with people in deluxe and other rooms. Food in the restaurant is also mediocre and the service is very slow. Pros: Even though the rooms were good and were maintained cleanly. After the initial Impressions and the rude behavior from the management ruined my stay in the hotel My Recommendation for other fellow Travellers : There is a Marriage in Nandyala in Jan/Feb 2024. I was planning to book 10-15 rooms for my family members, since it had very good reviews in Nandyala Hotels for boarding and lodging. According to the manangement, I have to fill 10-15 applications to all the rooms and also carry 50-60 adhar cards of all the family members. So I will refrain from booking this hotel for the marriage. I will visit Nandyala in future. But I will never visit this hotel again nor will I recommend DR Indraprastha to any of my family members or friends. Before booking this hotel, please keep these points in mind.

Rooms were clean and spacious, food delicious and service awesome. Definitely would go with family again and highly recommend

Good location. Great hotel. Easily accessible from bus stand and railway station. Traveller friendly.

Excellent hotel in Nandyal. I was sceptical before booking, I thought the hotel would be just ok. But after entering the hotel and the room, I was completely amazed by the cleaniless and high standard of the hotel. Very well maintained property.

Had a great stay with friends. The rooms are very spacious but the service wasn't that great. It is a small town but definitely overall the best hotel in Nandyal by far.
