We went for a family vacation to Mangalore. This was our first trip to the place. Naturally we had to select a hotel. After much deliberation we settled for Deepa Comforts. And we were not at all disappointed. We had a fabulous experience there. 1. Rooms were really spacious and with all the amenities (Kettle etc). 2. We were 5 of us. 3 people in one and two in the other. The extra person was also given a proper cot, bed and not in a make shift bed on the floor. That was really appreciated. 3. In the bathroom they had made a barrier which separates the bath area and the washroom. I really appreciate that as the bath water will not enter the toilet area 4. Lastly very very helpful and friendly staff. The dining experience was wonderful. All our demands, no onion no garlic, less spicy, and many other were done to perfection. Parking not available for all cars. Our vehicle was dented and scratched on the side, it was huge. When asked in the office, they refused to take the responsibility or even accept it in the first place. Not even a bit of empathy or a word. Did not expect this. Not coming again ever. Toilets are old. Room is okay. Buffet is not good. When they charge so high they should take responsibility for belongings too. Atleast for those that are under their control, like car. Not satisfied.
Spent a night while travelling from Kannur to Bangalore. The property is very good, in a prime location. Parking was decent, rooms were large and breakfast was also nice.
Good place. But had a fake website posing as the real one and many including me fwll victim. I informed the hotel and they lodged a complaint. Bathrooms need repairs, and the restaurants need to be more prominently displayed in reception.
