Hotel Deep Residency - Hotel in Roorkee, Shafipur - Haridwar, India

Good hotel for function & very good food & service provided by all team member during my function at Roorkee.

Nice food. Good service. Need to improve room interiors.

Room provided was as promised, big but with very old interiors and saggy beds. The attendants though limited were visiting when contacted, at times with a little delay as well, but were trying to provide workarounds instead of a solution. We were unable to get Hot running water when needed (morning and evening) rest of the time there was some warm water available in taps. We complained and got a hot water rod for heating water, which is a bad workaround when you have a baby with you. Most of the time we had to call service desk for multiple things like channels, extra buckets (had to explicitly mention clean bucket) etc. Another downside was only one complimentary water bottle for the day, which is ridiculous. Even hospitals nowadays serve 4-5 bottles a day.

The hotel is good, a little dum down but staff is friendly stay was pleasant but there was no wifi like advertised

Rooms are nice, spacious and the reception guy is friendly. The one thing what I didn't like was the food. They served Upma, which was smelling like cooked in the old used burnt oil and above that they put extra raw oil i think. I tried different dishes but not satisfactory at all. I agree with the previous reviews, the cleanliness in the room was poor. The quilt cover and bedsheets were dirty. Even though they changed the quilt cover when we asked but still the quilt itself was so dirty I did not feel like using it at all.

This Hotel is pathetic for organizing parties. Poor food and room service. They will declare the food finished right in the mid of the party while guests are still coming. If you book this hotel, ensure that they cook enough quantity. The much better option is Hotel Siddhartha right in front of this hotel. I attended parties in both the hotels and found Deep parties poorly managed and decorated compared to Siddhartha Hotel.

I was looking for rooms to stay in Roorkee for a night. I talked to so many hotels. No one wanted to give me rates. If fact one hotel even asked for advance. Then I came across Mr Ashish in Hotel Deep Residency. He manages the front office. Mr Ashish gave me very clear information about rates , hotel facilities, type of rooms, meal plans, directions for hotel and booked two rooms without taking any advance. First time I felt I am talking to someone from Hospitality industry.. after talking to so many Roorkee hotels. After reaching check in was Swift. Rooms were as promised and every thing was neat and clean. Overall because of Mr Ashish I felt very comfortable in Hotel Deep Residency. I would highly recommend this hotel and do get in touch with Mr Ashish before booking.
