Food was good.. you can get tasty food better than market.. I love the food here.. and price is also genuine same as market price but taste and quality is better than market.. Room was quite nice.. hot water also available.. I saw a black spider and dust under dressing table... Otherwise everything was good.
Great location with amazing views. Located right next to nature and greenery yet close to the two town centers. Rooms are clean and staff is really polite and helpful. Serves nice fresh food too.
Pros: 1. Prime location (On garam sadak- road connecting gandhi chowk and subhash chowk) 2. Nice view of hills- you may enjoy a sip of coffee there under the open sky while enjoying the beauty of nature. View from few rooms is also nice. 3. Pin drop silence- As it is located downstairs the road, you wont find any annoying sounds 4. Home like food- Food is prepared instantaneously fresh 5. Helpful Staff behavior- Staff are very prompt to help also you will feel safe staying here. Cons: 1. Old building- If you are searching photogenic and reflective type hotel, it is not for you. It lack modern facilities. It is old and wooden building 2. No room heater: As the building is made-up of wood, they don't provide you room heater. 3. Room service isn't very prompt. 4. Not suitable for Old age people as you have to climb the numerous stair to reach the road. 5. They insist you to pay in cash
Keep in mind that it is a heritage hotel. The service, location and view from room is great. Food could have been better but that is a very subjective thing. Few things which were on the downside - Only 1 towel provided for a two people The building (heritage) is not very well maintained Not suitable for elders, as you need to take a lot of stairs.

Awesome experience to stay at hotel crags .. It's in walking distance from main mall road, Dalhousie. the owner of the hotel is very cooperative. Staff are very prompt in service, very humble and supportive.. And always ready on call.. We opted Valley view room, that was awesome.. Amazing view from balcony.. And room was very clean and spacious.... Choose this hotel without hitch..

If you in a hurry and want a place to spend a night with good hospitality and rooms are not very luxurious but yes they are reasonable with clean bathroom and bedroom. We spent 2 nights and experience is good, but there are are so many resorts and are available in reasonable prices, unfortunately we were short of time and reached late so we resided here.
