Hotel Connaught Royale, Delhi - Hotel in New Delhi - New Delhi, India

The housekeeping and reception services were good. I had booked a room for three people, but they didn't provide an extra bed and only gave us one towel for three. I had to request another towel, and they brought it promptly. This showed a lack of readiness in their service. Breakfast was also prepared quite late; they had stated it would start at 7 AM, but by 7:30 AM, there was still very little available. Quite disappointing.

The room was very dimly lit with poor visibility near coffee table. Linen was dirty and the wooden panel on the floor was broken. The location is food but the entrance is pebbled and unsteady especially for senior citizens. Breakfast spread as per timings was mentioned as 7.30 am but when I reached the place the spread was 50% missing. It needs to improve big time to compete competition.

Horrible management. Rooms do not have proper facilities to keep towels or clothes. Towels are not clean. Management is not bothered to keep adequate staff to give good hospitality. Food options are very less for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even water is not at all served on table. The worst experience.

One of my best experiences during my vacation. It's situated in the premier location near the Lalit, excellent location, excellent rooms with all amenities like refrigerator with eateries and liquors, electric kettle, television with premium subscription of dth connection and well equipped bathroom with hot blower etc. Nice hospitality by hotel staffs and most importantly breakfast included (buffet meals and live kitchen).

I was keen to use their services for my son who was transiting through New Delhi. I spoke to their reservations team, was shared a rate and then my headache began. I called 8 times to get their attention to the email they had asked for and 19 times to get through to someone who could help me book. Finally I got through to Mr. Suraj who hiked up the rate by Rs. 2000 and said that his team member must have made a mistake and that rates have changed in November (both the interaction days were in Nov by the way). Very unprofessional behaviour that a hospitality business expects a paying client to call so many times to reserve and within themselves they are clueless on the rates. Very unhappy, will definitely never recommend.

The hospitality and ambience of this hotel is superb... Definitely recommended for your stay.. The staff of the hotel is excellent and everyone has a smile on their face which adds to the great experience over here ... Everything including the common area, room, washroom, breakfast is great... The staff is available 24/7 .... Definitely gonna come back whenever I come to Delhi... The location is opposite to the hotel lalit so everything is accessible and the area/ locality is also clean.

It was a nice cosy place and at a stone's throw away from CP. The rooms were neat and clean. Food was good but felt could be tad better. Breakfast buffet spread is nice.
