Coffee is veryy good. Along I had Ponda and idly. The chutney and sambar is taste wonderful. I paid less than a US Dollar for the entire bill.

Place is very close to the old bus stand. It has four floors, but rooms were not cleaned properly, full of wall fungus. Poor air ventilation in rooms. AC is available there but not working also not cleaned(people will get cold and allergy). Please to aware whether bedsheets are washed or not. Not sure also check ones the bed bugs availability on bed and cot. Water facilities are good. There is no welcome kit ( soap, towel, small shampoo vial, paste, hair comb) don't expect this. People can get the room here, only if there is no alternate room. Better to stay for only one day.
Went to this hotel for lunch with my family the service is very poor. We need to buy meals token for the food at the start itself but the food are not good. The staffs are not good. I ordered meals it took 5 mins to put the banana lean on table then another 5 mins for the side dish then another 5 mins for white rice then had to wait for sambar. Even for rasam and curd we have to ask 10 times with all the staffs no proper response. We have to wait for long. In front of me there 2 old ladies were sitting for lunch they treated them poorly. I won't recommend this hotel for any one.
The best breakfast/lunch place nearby the Tanjore temple. The food was really delicious and affordable. Food items are the typical South Indian varieties. I'm writing this 8 months after the visit. I still remember the experience and makes me want to go to Tanjore again just to enjoy the food at this place.

Rooms were not cleaned. Almira was totally dusty. Floors were also not cleaned. Doot mat would transfer mud to our feet. They didn't have blanket so gave bedsheets instead. No water to drink. Bed is ok AC works fine. They don't even pick the luggage to room, plus they ask tip upfront. Overall not value for money.
