Roof top restaurant is good. Ambiance is good. Service good. Washrooms are clean and hygienic with handwash. Price is also ok. A good dinner cost 250 to 350 per person. Good for family gathering. Banquet halls are available.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel City Star Shahdol , and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the warm and friendly staff made me feel like a valued guest. The amenities, including the swiming Pool and restaurant, were top-notch. . This hotel truly sets the standard for luxury and hospitality. Highly recommended! Hotel Manager MR Rahul is very humble.

The ambience of the restaurant is good we choose the rooftop and the ambience is good with swimming pool.The food quality and taste is also good.small minor issues are there like u won't get larger cooldrinks like coke,pepsi they are having only smaller bottles so if you guys are going in a group means u need to order more cool drinks and they don't provide free water but according to govt every resturant has to provide free drinking water to the customer. The customer has the choice to take packaged water bottle but here u don't have any other option only packaged bottle available.

Rooms are old not maintained. Staff behavior is excellent. Service is excellent.

House keeping and room services were very poor, I stayed here for 2 days and no one came for room cleaning even after asking multiple times, ac was just above the bed and water drops were coming from ac, my whole bed was wet and even after asking 50 times no one was responding and they didn't even changed my room, I spent my complete night on side sofa.worst experience in my 8 years of travelling experience. If you want to stay in shahdol then never go this hotel it's better to stay in any dharamshala rather than this hotel. I have asked for 2 hrs late check-out in the morning, at that time hotel manager agreed on the same and at the time of check out he demanded me Rs. 500 extra for late check out. Very poor staff and poor management. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER SEEN. There in nothing to like in this hotel, everything is below average or you can say everything is worst.
