I stayed here with my family and I'm happy that I selected Hotel Chitrkoot for our stay. The staffs are very friendly and they were very cooperative and gave their 100% for customer satisfaction. The food was awsome. I would recommend guests to book this hotel for a luxurious stay in gangtok.

This is a moderately decent hotel and also in the process of renovation. They are in the process of creating more rooms which will allow them to host group bookings. Accommodation is good, food is moderate.

Very good view with very good staffs. They were very kind to all of their guests and food was cheap and best.

Food quality is vogus. Room service is third class. No one responds on time. Never book this hotel.

All rooms are really nice specially honeymoon sweet bedrooms are awesome. Yes room service is great & i just love their coffee.I gurranteed that your first visit in this hotel will be a memory for you forever.

Too bad experiance. I was went in this hotel in this month 20 dec 2021. Agent gave me 3 days package in this hotel. This is too long distance from m g road. Interior are good. But service is too bad. I was order for food at 7.30pm, but till 9.00pm i was not get food. When we ask for sandwich they told me, they not having bread. We order for maggi, and soup. But since they not provide us. Hot water not availabel in room.

The hotel is a bit far from the Gangtok city (approx. 10 km) but the view from the balcony is really amazing. PROS: Tastefully done decor. Very good view from the balcony on the third floor. Rooms are furnished with electric kettle, and we'll stacked tea, and coffee. Nice furniture. Adequate cable TV subscription (no English channels though). Hot water in the wash basin as well. Value for money. I paid approx. Rs 1,700 for one room including breakfast. CONS: No internet, food quality is average, limited food choices, inadequate staff members, long waiting time for food. Did not accept card payment or online account transfer. Only one option is available for breakfast. Poori and potato curry on one day and aloo paratha on the other day. Should make items that can be prepared in bulk like poha, upma, daliya, cereals, or pongal, etc. Special issues: They refused to accept my OYO booking. I had already paid partially at OYO. Created a major heartache. After several phone calls, OYO agreed to refund my amount. DO NOT BOOK VIA OYO.
