Hotel Chinar - Hotel in Srinagar - Srinagar, India

I recently had a stay in this property with my 9yrs old daughter . I had a terrible experience . Even if the availability was there but no one upgraded the room category as the views from our room were really pathetic although the rooms are v spacious . We were told that it was the highest category of room available with them . I did not like the hospitality as kept calling the room service but It was never addressed . One Light of the room was not functioning neither we got any assistance on operating the Tv as we called the room service depart. Thrice but no one came . Variety In food was avg. The only best thing abt the hotel was Mr Saba who was always smiling and was polite and helpful at the restaurant. My daughter called the restaurant to order noodles in the room for the dinner but we were told it was finished although it was available in the dinner buffet . Location of the hotel is not good as it's on the Srinagar bypass . Would never stay here again better prefer staying at the Dal lake instead .No value for money .

Me and my husband had a great time their. Best resort experience and hospitality was so good. Welcoming staff and Manager. Hotel located at very prime Location on Srinagar Bypass. F & B department is excellent, they serve one of best dishes and maintained the Dinning Hall very well. Entire hotel and restaurant is very Hygienic. Mr. Zubair & Ms. Shampa are very heartwarming and welcoming.

Stayed for a day here ... very nice place. The staff is very polite and helpful. Food taste is good and property is neat and clean. It's away from the hustle bustle of city, so it's also a nice place to walk around in the campus without the horns or sounds...

Very well-kept property a tidy and clean room. Service was excellent .I had an amazing time, and the environment was incredible. The staff is friendly and helpful.excellent stay at this hotel. I highly recommend anyone to stay.

The stay was great ! The rooms were clean and spacious . I loved the bathroom personally. Receptionist Ms Taira was extremely friendly and soft spoken. Overall the experience was great

Our stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The service was atrocious; we had to constantly call for the same things, and they still couldn't get it right. The AC was on the fritz, making the room unbearably hot. To make matters worse, there was a power outage, leaving us in the dark with non-functional electrical sockets rendering our devices useless. The lights flickered like a horror movie, adding to the misery. Save yourself the headache and find a different place to stay. This hotel is a disaster and not worth a single penny. Avoid at all costs!
