Not at all advisable even for a one day stay..Rooms are stinking and central ac not working properly..toilets not clean..rude attitude shown by hotel management. Price charging by hotel is too high comparing the service provided..felt suffocating and unable to breathe when check with reception, no measures have taken by team. Over all stay is not advisable

If you have to spend only one night in there then it is fine but the cost is too high for a day. I took the hotel because my parents are old and they were too tired to wait for me to search a room and then choose. I thought I had to spend only one night so I took it, location wise it is very near to the temple but that is the only benefit you have. 1. Room service is Zero. 2. You are on your own. 3. Overpriced while looking at the service (there is no service actually) 4. Rooms have centralized AC, you cannot control it with a remote. You need to push the button near the vent to adjust it. 5. Curtains were torn, no bulb in one side of the bed. If you are staying for a night and you need to just sleep then it is good but not recommended for a long stay.

The double room which we occupied, was very clean. Room service by the attendant was satisfactory. Lift was working in tact. Rooftop was ideal for having pure air/wind with vast sight of the gopurams (towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple on the east. The Hotel (tourist home) is at 10 mts' walkable distance along the busy streets to the Temple. Generally, most of the lodges/hotels at Madurai are seen subjected to severe discontentment by the occupants especially due to lack of facilities & cleanliness assured by the Hotels. Perhaps they turn a deaf ear to the complaints & needs of the customers due to the fact that they do vacate the rooms within half or one day, after having darsan at the Meenakshi temple. In order to mitigate these issues, the Madurai Corporation and Health Authorities should conduct periodical inspection of the Hotels and impose huge amount as penalty whever customers are seen cheated by them.

Overall a good hotel if you have to stay for a short time. Best thing is it is just 500m from Meenakshi Temple. Also have ample parking space if traveling by own vehicle. AC is bit noisy and linens could have been cleaner.

Overall a good experience. The room and bathroom were clean and smelled nice. Bedsheets were okay. Ac was very good. Staffs were friendly. The restaurant is not available in the premises. Only soap is provided in toiletries. Value for money. Quite atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff. Completely safe.

I had stay hotel CHENTOOR old hotel in west perumal mastry st rooms are good and well maintained need to replace bathroom consumables decent stay need to open roof top restaurant as soon as possible

The room and bathroom were clean. AC was good. The bedsheet was not that clean. Service was good but the restaurant is not available as mentioned in the amenities. Can order food through swiggy or Zomato.

Good hotel but old. Stayed for 1 night. Location is very close to Madurai Railway station
