I recently dined at the only pure veg restaurant in Dahanu market, and while there were some positive aspects, I can only give it a three-star rating due to certain drawbacks. On the plus side, the food served at this restaurant is undeniably good, and the service is impressively fast. I must highlight their onion Uttapa, which is a standout dish highly recommended by many patrons. However, the overall ambiance of the restaurant left much to be desired. The vibe was rather dull, lacking the inviting atmosphere that makes dining out enjoyable. One significant downside was the lack of an in-house washroom. Visitors are required to use a public washroom, which unfortunately is not well-maintained and is not recommendable. In summary, while the food quality and prompt service are commendable, the overall experience was marred by the dull ambiance and the inconvenience of using an unkept public washroom. A three-star rating reflects this mixed experience.

A small restaurant located in Dahanu. It's interior was simple. The restaurant had an indoor & outdoor seating. Had ordered breakfast consisting of Medu Vada & Sambhar, Upma, Masala Dosa, Poha etc. All of them tasted delicious. The quantity was good. The service was good. The ambience was good. The prices were reasonable. Overall, a good place for breakfast and lunch.

Chandrika hotel is one of the oldest Pure Vegetarian restaurants in Dahanu. Worth a visit.

This hotel/restaurant comes into your view when you step outside the Dahanu Road station on the west side. This is a simple restaurant which is good for grabbing a quick bite. The rates are cheap to reasonable. The service is quick too. We tried two dishes here: 1) Masala Dosa: The dosa was very crispy and the potato vegetable tasty. The sambhar and chutney serves was good too. 2) Dahi Misal Pav: This tasted so good we ordered two of them. The misal has perfect combination of spicy, sweet and sour taste. Love it. The size of pav is less though. You must order more. I would have loved if they also served dahi separately in a small plate. The served dahi over the plate gets finished very quick. Must note that lemon soda was not available. Pehaps the first time ever that has happened when I ordered it. :P The service men are helpful too. All in all a good experience. Don't go here with HUGE expectations. It's simple restaurant worth it's price.

They seriously need to get their interiors done as its way too old now. The quality and quantity of food has dropped. But the south indian dishes are still tasty and good.
