Hotel Chanakya - Hotel in Agra - Agra, India

The hospitality given by Hotel Chanakya is very good and I am very happy. Also,the location is good that everything is within the reach next time when I visit would like to stay with family it's like homely food and the and Manager is good.I am thankful to Mr. Rishi who have guided.

Good Location, Average Tasty Food at inhouse Restaurant, Poor Maintenance of hotel Properties...Broken Toilet Fittings & Locks of Main room entrance Doors, Dirty torn Towels, Very less Service Staffs, Average Service Standard, Ok type of a Budget Hotel.

Worst All staff not good Not even packed bottle (bisleri) they provide, one of the not very good locations Need renovation badly TV not working - recharged not done Geyser they bluntly refused to provide in summer Wifi password was asking for 3-4 times everytime they said someone will come and nobody turned up So overall not even 1

bad points -infrastructure old, I called 5-6 times for ro water, smell in cabins, no power point near bad, pillows covers are old. good points-good location, retro feel, family types. staff is polite. need lots of improvement

Looks great from outside but rooms are quite disappointing.

I have checked in very late at 9:30 pm as we were traveling the whole day, but must say Mr. Mallik the manager has given us the best service and this one extra star is for him. Food quality is very good. Mallika has arranged for all the things which we had ask for. The toilets taps needs to be changed.Rooms were very good and cleaned.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 night 3day..in a nutshell the experience was worst..what i experienced those are - 1. All the staffs were very rude behavior even the hotel Manger, receptionist. 2. The rooms are dirty, and unhygienic. 3. The service of the room is nothing.they denied to provide even the essential things. Soap, shampoo ,hot water for drinking, towel, dustbin in the bathroom etc... 4. The way they talk to a customer is really needed a proper training. 5. The lock of the room also not working..unsafe What I think the hotel staffs members should be more polite, patience with the customers.. and should accept their fault instead of arguing. I stayed only one night but I wish not to spend another night in future...

The only reason I gave it 1 star was because it was required to be able to write a review and there was no option to give a minus 1 rating. It was my worst experience with a hotel ever. The pictures they have on their website are all old and do not show the reality at all. Every wall of every place/room in the hotel was damp and the plaster was coming off due to seepage of water everywhere inside the walls. And the rooms smelled like sewers. The rooms weren't even clean, there were spider webs everywhere. They didn't even change the dirty disgusting bedsheets and covers before giving the room to us. There were plates with leftover food in the corridor from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. No one bothered to remove them. I have nothing to say about the staff because there was NO STAFF. No Bell boys for room service. The literal security guard changed the bedsheets after we called the reception to complain from our CELL PHONES because all the telephones were dead. And they were taking so long to address our complaints and do something about it due to lack of staff. The ACs in our "super deluxe room" (for which they charged extra) weren't working. And when we called to ask for another room, the receptionist told us to wait for a technician who came after waiting for more than 30 minutes and still our problem wasn't solved. They gave us another room after waiting for an hour total. The toilet flush and some other taps were leaking and there were no toiletries. No soap, no towels, nothing. Even warm water was not available. There were not many options for breakfast and it was prepared in the most unhygienic way behind the hotel building in the open. The only 1 good thing I can say is that the breakfast tasted good. And the location was alright. Otherwise, I said it before and I'm saying it again, WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER.
