Reposting a review made by my partner as we couldn't recommend avoiding this place more. Stayed here one night, the owner of the Chacha is a very nice man. Though in the morning when going into town for breakfast we were led by one of his younger staff members to the lake where we pushed into a "brahman" ceremony/scam. We were happy to donate some money however even after swindling us 500 rupees, we were still abused by the so called Brahmans for not donating enough. Do not fall for this scam, very dishonest and we're feeling very disappointed by the hotel for organising this extortion to happen to its guests.
Rooms get very hot and no air-conditioning, just a ceiling fan, the beds are very hard aswell as the pillow. That being said the people who work there are very nice and helpful, and will do their best to help, whether it's looking to hire a scooter, or get an Indian SIM

Cha Cha is very friendly. Decent place for budget trips, food is okay but there is a risk of availability. The vibe of chacha's garden is good.
