Hotel Central Avenue - Lodge in Sangli, Sangli Miraj Kupwad - Sangli, India

1 The rooms are spacious for 2 persons. 2. Clean. 3. Sufficient car parking is available in premises. 4. Restaurant is OK but closes too early. 5. Room service not available for food/tea early in morning & late evening. 6. Location is on Sangli Miraj highway - no need to search, just set it on Google maps.

Decent place. Fairly okay rooms. Much cleaner, yes. But rate doesn't justify. Seems a tad bit high. Breakfast is absolutely awful. More like tasteless. Just one or two dishes and eggs extra for those who eat eggs. Cleaning service not really upto mark. Had to ask them twice to clean the room, during my stay. But when cleaned, they do a decent job at it.

Very slow and unattentive restaurant staff. Took 1 hr to serve dal- fry and 2 rotis.

Fantastic food prepared well and served in quick amount of time! The servers were caring to our every need. Clean rooms with everything just as it should be! Clean towels, floors and bathrooms and bedsheets. Respectful and helpful staff It was a restful stay.

I will first talk about issues here. Hard water is what they provide in bathrooms. Breakfast is good but more items are required to be provided. Coffee is not available across counter and needs to be ordered separately, which takes time. They need to shift to smart door locks and still use old lock n key system. Coming to positives, good place, good location, ample parking space, better rooms, better service.

Good place to stay on Sangli Miraj Road. Spacious rooms, good staff. Celebrations restaurant serves multi cuisine food. Ajinkya is quite helpful in suggesting dishes to your palate. Try crispy garlic naan with chillies. Veg Manchurian is another great dish to try amongst the starters. They make it well.

Too noisy. Random people were also ringing our door bell at 2 am. Otherwise, hotel location and cleanliness is good.

I had booked for most expensive room this hotel can offer and the experience was really disappointing. Only positive side is humble behavior of staff. Staff was very polite and nice to customers. Hotel location is near to highway so it's easily accessible but there is nothing else in the area and there are many other hotels situated on same road with better location. Parking is in the open and can extend right upto the road, but a watchman is always present there. Food is highly overpriced and poor taste. Paying extra for breakfast is total waste of money as I saw the worst breakfast buffet ever. With only 2 items like poha and upma. Even egg was not included in the price and I had to pay 60+ rupees for 2 boiled eggs. Hot water is not provided 24 hours although it is mentioned in description. Had to call room service for hot water bucket every time I needed it. Rooms are tiny and not many complimentary amenities were provided. No Wi-Fi. All in all, it's a must avoid place if there is any other option.
