Do not be fooled by the pictures here. Maintenance has gone down a lot. Stains on bed and sofa. Cracks on the wall. Leaky bathrooms. Unpleasant odour in the room. The list goes on. The building looks brand new from outside but once you step inside the room, it feels completely different. Cleanliness is not up to the mark. Inspite of asking them twice to clean and dry the bathrooms, it wasn't done.

My stay for 2 days at Castillo was amazing. Staff was courteous and food was also good. The staff served us on the table and made available special dishes on our request.

Overall it was a wonderful experience.the reception was very quick for the check-in process they did not keep us waiting. They welcomed us with refreshing drink. Rooms very well done Housekeeping staff was very prompt. would recommend you to Stay with comfort without any hassle. Market is near by with branded showrooms at the waking distance. accessibility of vehicles was very easy without any hassle. Thank You Hotel Castillo for your wonderful services.Would definitely visit again n again.

The food was good and the service was also very nice. Antima Singh was helpful to all our guests.

I travelled with my wife and daughter to Varanasi from 27th-29th September 2023 and checked in this Hotel with prior advance booking. I had booked breakfast for 1 day and no breakfast of other day as I wanted to have a feel of local dishes. I had clearly mentioned this to booking incharge Mr Yuvraj. Accordingly I took only 1 breakfast and skipped the other . But to my surprise,at time of check out they tried to charge Both breakfast from me. I had to show them the booking chat history to prove myself. Mr. Amit, front desk manager was so reluctant to revise the bill, that he kept us waiting for half an hour in the name of bill correction process time. Infact,he was attending other guests and made us wait just to release his grudge and frustration of revising the bill. That was very annoying. I had to to call GM Mr Rahul to clear the matter. Mr Rahul was a gentleman and informed me that earlier staff consisting under the leadership of Me Neeraj has left the hotel and all this problem is because of the new staff. I remember Mr Neeraj was a gentleman. Anyways Mr Rahul helped me in getting the matter solved. So please beware with the bookings and front desk staff.

Had a two night stay and faced multiple issues with this hotel: 1. Check-in: there were three staff members at the check-in desk who were helping one guest ahead of me. It took them more than 30 minutes to check me in. They allotted me a room which was going through some repairs which I obviously found out after going to the room. Then I needed to wait for the correct assignment. After that they assigned me another one but the key card didn't work. So overall I wasted close to an hour just waiting to get a room. 2. Weird room service: in the middle of the night while I was asleep, two room service guys barged in the room. I woke up and was utterly confused about what is going on. These guys told me they are there to replace my phone which I never requested. I told them its not needed and they went back. After that I found out they took my key card from the socket so AC stopped working and then only after calling front desk, i got the electricity back. It was happening at around 1 am in the night. 3. Construction noises at 3:30 am: on the second night, heard loud banging as if someone is nailing the walls. It laster for more than 45 minutes. Overall a bad experience. Wouldn't recommend this property. You can get Ramada or Radisson for about the same price.

Hi I was in this hotel for 2nts. On the day I arrived at the hotel, I realized that I was the final guest to check in at 10:00 PM. Consequently, I was assigned the last available room. As I entered the room, I immediately noticed a damp floor, an unpleasant odor filling the air, and walls with peeling paint. The room also had a considerable amount of dust accumulated throughout. To my dismay, the condition of the bedsheets and pillow covers was deplorable. They appeared torn and dirty, as though they had simply reused the previously used linens. They shifted my rooms to a different floor. The worst comes noise towards construction. Drilling & hammering work to start by 8:00 AM in the working So please sleep early & get out of the Hotel 8:00 AM else you will have bare the noise. Food : Taste is good but the cost of the food is very high. A meal for 3 pax will e about 3500 with basic Roti, Dal, Veg. My recommendation is please avoid this hotel if you can. Not worth the money. Pay another 1K more you will get better property. Which is neat & clean.

Overall experience is awesome...specially madam at restaurant Ms.Antina Singh was polite to serve us.Topnotch
