Hotel Burma Kadai - South Indian restaurant in Virudhunagar - Virudhunagar, India

Among the worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. A table emptied up for us when the people waiting there got up and left in frustration from waiting for someone to attend to them. Not a good start. Then the waiters treated us like they were daring us to leave. They were very rude and lacking in basic hospitality. One of them set down our own water glasses with dirty gloves on and all the glasses were visibly stained. Dude didn't care. I wonder what garbage happens in the cooking area. The place wasn't even crowded. Just mismanaged. They should just close this place down and turn it into a parking lot. The food was meh.

Had Parotta, mutton, chicken Biriyani Overall good taste and service. Prices are very reasonable. Car parking road side ..... must try mutton Biriyani

One of the iconic signature places of Virudhunagar, famous for Oil Parotta. Special thing about the hotel is that we can get mutton items for breakfast. Price is reasonable and recommended for family get-together.

No upi payment accepted, only cash. Food was fine. Only vegetarian. Good parking facilities. Decent service.

Always check what u have ordered.... Burma hotel is one the fraud hotel in virudhunagar... I have ordered 3 parotto and butter chicken but what they have packed is 2 parotto and a butter chicken... This is not the first time...

We stopped here well before lunch time and got food parcelled. The taste lives up to it's reputation. The restaurant is well maintained and is spic and span. Staff are polite, well mannered and accommodating. The only downside is the quantity of the serving is puny which doesn't justify the cost especially because you want more.

Biriyani rice felt a bit sticky or overcooked. Chicken pcs were well done. Mutton ball was good. Ample tables. No clear parking zone....was done on the service road.

This restaurant is situated on the left side of the highway towards kanyakumari. Quite easily recognisable from the highway too. They have decent car parking space accommodating at least 10 cars at a time. The ambiance is not as good as the one inside the city, it looks just like a normal South Indian restaurant (nothing special). This restaurant fills up really fast during weekends. The taste is quite good, but not the best I've had in Virudhunagar. The other branch situated inside the city had better ambiance and taste comparatively. The cost felt reasonable for the food quantity offered here. I would suggest going to the other restaurant inside the city instead of this if you are having enough time to travel, else this is the only other good choice for parota in Virudhunagar.
