Hotel Boulevard - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

I booked a room in the adjacent hotel, but they transferred my booking to Hotel Boulevard due to some unavoidable circumstances. The staff of the hotel were so helpful. This entire matter of being transferred from one hotel to another was a smooth process and it had already been done before I even arrived and that is what makes me write this review. The room allocated to me was a really good and clean one with all the amenities one can possibly need. And for me, I was travelling alone and to all solo female travellers I would like to say that you will be completely safe here. In the previous hotel I booked I did not opt for complimentary breakfast and yet Boulevard arranged one for me. My bus was at 2 pm in the afternoon and I had to check out at 12 noon, but I was made to feel completely at home and given extra time before vacating the room. The hotel is right in Police Bazaar, so if you are someone who wants to shop, talk to people and have all the amenities at an arm's length, then this is the place to stay. Thank you for the wonderful stay. I would definitely love to visit again.

Located in the heart of POLICE BAZAR near UP sweet house. Food is healthy and tasty food amazing tast. staff behaviour polite and helpful. Tangi taste of pickle is unique. which attract everyone again and again who visit here. hot Gulab jamun superb tasty as desrt.

stayed this hostel on 1st may and 4th may,2023. Service was good, Rooms were clean, complimentary brakefast was tasty. One thing I want to add that, In this time total Meghalaya is facing electricity problem. So, u may face power cut after 11pm for the rest of night. But don't worry hotels have generator.

Hotel had pros and cons Pros It had all the facilities within , no ac like most of the hotels in shillong Fan is there Hot Water 24 hrs Close to market area for shopping Cons They have power cuts at nights and DG cannot be switched on as the locals around get disturbed by sound...we had our trip in April had a terrible night stay The hotel is located in a narrow path sometimes the driver may not come into this lane and you may have to carry the luggage ..within for 150 mts

Pros: location, located in local bazar Cons: no power in the midnight from 1AM-5AM, they can't switch on DG. Car cannot reach the hotel directly, you need to carry your luggage and walk 100-150 mts to reach hotel.

The rooms are fine and the service as well. The entire hotel including the rooms has a strange unpleasant smell. The complimentary breakfast has a countable 4-5 things which are pretty fine as per the hotel, but if you opt for lunch and dinner, the food is very expensive. The hotel wifi has very poor connectivity and you will have to use your mobile data. According to the pay, the hotel is not worth it even though the rooms are clean and hygienic.

I have stayed in the hotel on 21st December 2021. Hotel room was superb. Clean and tidy. Comfortable clean quite big bed with high quality mattress. Bathroom was very clean and no foul smelling, with 24h running hot water. TV had all channel although I have used it only for 30 min as I have 7 years old boy used to watch cartoon and face no issues. All staff are very polite and helpful and room boys even doesn't ask for tips, and I am sure you will give them tips towards their well behaviour. I would love to stay again if needed to visit Shillong again. Have very very good staying experience. Thanks a lot.
