Hotel Blue Lagoon - Hotel in Daman, Marwad - Daman, India

I'm only discussing a recent restaurant visit where I encountered an issue with the food. We ordered the paneer mutter dish, but it turned out to be overly salty. I alerted the restaurant manager, who promised to consult with the chef. However, when I followed up later, he claimed the paneer mutter wasn't salty at all.

We booked 5 rooms. This is not a 3 star property. Its a normal hotel with unprofessional staff(not rude but not trained, and non hospitality staff). Online photos are old. currently the hotel is stinky, oily floors, not regular cleaning, stinky rooms and bathrooms, extra mattress and pillows given were dirty. Cockroaches in bathroom and if you are lucky enough you can see it in room as well. For breakfast they say while booking we have around 10 items in buffet. But in real its only 5 items and milk will cost you extra bucks. Overall over priced property and less than 3 star category property.

Location is good. Live music is there to enlight the evening. Food is good and up to the mark. Service is good.

I went for Dinner, Food was good, a specialy Veg dishes.

The hotel is too overpriced and the photos on the internet are too old (probably when the hotel was new). Even the basic amenities like kettle isn't provided for a 3 star hotel. Rooms are too old and cockroaches found in the room. However, the staff is courteous and they did give us better rooms when asked for. Also, their breakfast is also not that good with only 3 options in buffet. Basically you pay for a 3-4 star hotel, but dont even get the service of 1-2 star. Only good thing about the hotel is their Tulip restaurant. The food there is amazing with non veg included. Overall, I won't recommend anyone to stay here unless the price is reduced. Definitely not worth paying 5-6k for a night.

Food Quality is Great, especially u should try Fish, as it is freshly brought and cooked well and its really delicious. Room Service: They have good Room Service but they are not allowed to use service lifts, so it is kind of little bit slow..! Otherwise good whether it is proper arrangement of room or ordering any food in room... everything good.. Restaurant ambience is also quite good !
