Hotel Blizz - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Being a regular customer for many years I feel this place has lack in terms of hospitality, their food and service. I used to really enjoy going to this property before because I loved their food, though it was expensive but after i recently visited this place again after 1 year so much has changed. The food quality and taste was not good. The price of the food and the quantity of the food they serve is not worth it. Never try their chicken wings you will regret paying for it, it's quite expensive for only 4pcs of small fried chicken. Moreover i was not allowed to park my scooty inside the property, when the parking was vacant, the guard told me to park outside and when I asked the guard why I am not allowed to park inside the property as I am going to their restaurant only he just said it's not allowed....like seriously. It's just a scooty it won't take much space and the parking was empty. I felt really disappointed but didn't want to argue so i just parked outside their property. Already I was disappointed because of the parking I got more disappointed with the food and restaurant service. They gave me a feedback form to fill up with my name and contact number for wat? when no one even took the effort to reach out to me after I shared my feedback. Overall this time I had a very bad experience.... really really disappointed.

Beautiful vast property, a large variety of different sizes and levels of rooms , The staff is good , but generally a bit slow, but yo be fair it's generally the case in all hotels in Shillong. The food and drinks were good , prices are on higher side though. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend atleast 2-3 nights to fully enjoy the property.

I love this place because of the Amazing ambience and the serenity of this place. Apart from that, I'm disappointed that the food we order was undercooked and tasteless. The service was too slow as well. I definitely would not recommend this place.

Went for dinner with family. The food was good, the ambience was a delightful mix of natural beauty, royalty and legacy architecture. In food, Gold Coin is a must try.

Visited Cafe Heritage near Tripura Castle and had the worst possible time here. Absolutely pathetic dishes (we tried a paneer starter and buffalo wings) - tasted very average and the paneer texture just did not seem right. We had ordered main course as well, unfortunately, the service was so slow that it took us >1.5 hours and we ended up cancelling the order and leaving the restaurant. The restaurant seemed severely understaffed. You may be better off visiting other cafes/hotels in shillong for foos and service experience. However, the ambience and location was pretty awesome.

It's a beautiful resort, one must stay at this place. Location where they take you for breakfast is amazing

If you want to stay away from the hustle bustle of the police bazaar, this place offers a quiet, serene corner of Meghalaya in the middle of lush green. The rooms are huge. Great views of shillong. The food is not good.
