Hotel Best Holiday Home - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

We stayed there from 21st to 23rd october.our room number was 402. Rooms are very clean & big. The balcony view of the city is amazing. Bathroom accessories were there,it was clean & well serviced. The only issue is you have to order your dinner on zomato,as on that time their restaurant was non functional. But breakfast was there. Good hotel for family.

The clean and spacious room, clean washroom, had almost all the necessary amenities, The staff was nice too. But on the downside there was no hand wash and slippers in the washroom. And the staff was not comfortable with hindi Overall a good hotel for ur stay.

I had a pleasant experience in my 5 days stay in this hotel. i would recommend this to everyone. Easily accessible to all places in Shillong. I am giving a 4 star rating because of the food quality otherwise I would have given it a 5.

An average hotel with few spacious rooms. Its takes some time for hot water to come They gives towel and soap while you should bring your own toothpaste. Charging ports are doubtful because controller of DJI drone got burn while charging through ppwer socket in this hotel. Breakfast is average as far as hotel is concerned. Not many people were staying when i stayed two times in December. The biggest negative side is We booked 1 room as triple occupancy but they didnt offered a cot for 3 rd person. They said, take mattress and sleep on floor in chilly Shillong night therefore i was forced to rent one more room to stay warm.

The location of the hotel is very good. We were provided rooms in two different floor which was little uncomfortable. During booking it showed the area 220 square feet for each room, but in the first look we feel the size of the room was small comparatively.. The staff of the hotel were very good.. Overall the stay at the Best Holiday Inn was good.

Cobbled in Upper Lachumiere of Shillong, this small hotel is more like a guest house. In a quiet area. Rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom is also fine. Almost all rooms have a very small balcony, good for smoking. The downside is that the hotel is located at the end of a narrow road. Parking is extremely limited. Basic facilities are available for guests. The upper rooms have a view. Service is also limited. Good for a night or a couple of nights stay. A little overpriced for the facilities provided. Overall my stay was satisfactory.

Awesome Hotel, no problems with the stay, rooms were big and spacious. After a long time we had got hot water in some hotel and it was great. The food however was a problem and 1 star less was that, the evening snack and morning breakfast was good, but the Chinese dinner we ordered was absolutely not upto the mark. You can go out and eat or maybe order food if allowed, but stay is recommended for sure.

Pros: The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are decently big. Food is good. Scenary is decent for couples. The hotel is budget hotel - decent on the pocket. Cons: The hotel is at a height and inaccessible for a tempo traveller and any commercial vehicles. It's a big no for people who have problem walking. There are no geysers in the deluxe rooms - timing of the hot water will have to be scheduled with the staff. They do not provide heaters even though the temperature is at the lowest since the Hotel is at a height. To be fair, the fare is cheap and therefore, maybe the lack of utilities. We unfortunately booked it through a travel agent and therefore did not research sufficiently. So in the event you get this hotel, please do your research. There are other better options in this range.
