A complete disaster of an experience here at this hotel.
1) Location is not safe at all. It's in the midst of a vegetable market place. Very unhygienic surroundings with foul smell.
2) No parking space of their own. Parking space is under a dirty bridge. U have to remove ur vehicle wen the market place opens.
3) Sanitary conditions are worst. Wash basin leaks. Can't use it.
4) They have mentioned TVs which don't work. Funny thing is the room telephone doesn't work even for calling hotel personnel.
5) Very bad attitude/behaviour from the hotel receptionist.
Actually booked the hotel for 2 nights but since the conditions were so bad, we stayed for a night and checked out the next morning. They don't issue refund. Pathetic customer service.
For a family, this hotel is a big NO. It would be a harrasment. Actually wished there was a negative rating coz this place doesn't even deserve a single .

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental.
Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice.
Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.

This is the best hotel stay for any type of travellers, especially for couples. I have stayed here for 4 days, their hospitality is extravagant. I have enjoyed their food style and taste, they simply follow our personal requirem
I must say the hospitality the owner of the hotel name David gave was just out of the blue and his team of dynamic staffs were so helpful in every way possible when I needed their services.

You will actually feel like you are staying at home. I have visited Mawlynnong 3 times and every time I stayed in this homestay. Superb neat and clean place with decent basic eating options nearby.

Came here for wisdom tooth extraction and the doctor did a great job. He explains beforehand how he will proceed and listens to his patients' concern. I highly recommend a visit if you have any dental ailments.
