Hotel Barak Continental - Hotel in Silchar - Cachar, India

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life. We had booked two rooms, when we came to check in at the hotel, no room was vacant. At 9:30 pm we had to wait for 30 minutes at the reception before being arranged for a room. And all three of us had to adjust in one room. The room was very dirty. There was a foul smell coming from the blanket. They don't even have towels to provide in the room. I would request all online hotel booking vendors to remove this hotel from their listing to save their reputation.

In my entire life so far this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. The rooms are such pathetic. They forgot to clean the room and i was asked to wait in another room while they cleaned the one i was assigned to. The service is the worst. The food is pathetic. Infact they didnt provided me the bill during checkout and ensured they will send it in my number later. They never did. I would request all the online hotel booking vendors to skip this hotel from their list in order to save their reputation. The staff is so unprofessional I being a female solo traveller was literally uncomfortable in this hotel I had to cancel my extension and move to another hotel

Room was good.. but service was not good, 1)TV was not working condition. 2)Tv remote doesn't have cells. 3)mobile charging shocket was broken. 4) Telephone was dead. 5) Bathroom was good but they didn't provide any shope or shampoo. 6) I asked multiple time for towel but they don't provided towel. 7) I request for early check out for my flight also informed hotal management one day before that I have to check out in the morning by 6AM but next day morning I called them more then 26 times they wasn't responding and waited 45 minutes for check out. after 45 minutes one staff came and unlock the door. 8) But one thing I have to say that food was delicious and awesome in the resturant. *Overall Experience Comment:- Hotal management should be more responsible for their customers. ( rest are ok)

People stay there just for the location. Rooms are very dirty and they don't even clean the washroom after complaining many times. I am attaching a photo you can understand that people only sray there because of the location

If by chance you landed up in this so called hotel never ever try food from their restaurant and rates are very high and quality and hygiene is minus(-5 ) I ordered for butter chicken and they served smelly stinky chicken

In my entire life , I didn't find any stupid hotel like this ,, very very bad hotel , they taken money from mmt for breakfast but don't serve any breakfast , very very bad hotel please don't stay this kind of bad hotel

I paid 1700 for 1 non-ac room, but room was very small and even tv was not working, bed sheets were dirty , and even no ceiling fan was there, only a small wall fan was working in conditions

1. Dener served after 30 mint later. Complementary breakfast not served after 1 hours and 35 mint. I was call hotel staff for 3 times, still not served. Total 3 days I stay in the hotel but not a single day they provide me my Complementary breakfast. This is ridiculous. 2. Rooms are dirty, not clean. Clothes are not wash and changed. A very bad smell was came.
