Hotel Aura Paharganj - Hotel in New Delhi - Central, India

The rooms were really clean and spacious. You actually get what you book and the location is nice, being close to Connaught Place. We tried the Jacuzzi and it was very nice, I would highly recommend it, especially given the friendly prices. The staff was also very accommodating as they also picked up an order for me.

Such a worst experience I ever had,I booked room with jacuzzi where I waited half an hour for hot water, they don't even provide you a bathing kit , you should keep your own soap and shampoo ect.. also there is no toilet paper, very delay in food service they took more than 1 hour for each order.. and also they are very fast forward to charge you for little things.. Completely nonsense , i spent 6 thousand for such a stupid place .. Big no for this place they ruined your day and mood .

It was a terrible experience in Aura. Me Being first time in North india , this hotel creates an impression that India is overcrowded and dirt as foreigners think The rooms were bad with insects running all over the room . Bed , cupboards , anywhere in the room were super dirt.also this hotel is located in market place which makes u feel discomfort to walk outside. It's a pure scam to brand this as a three star hotel.It's not even to the standards of a clean and tidy place . To all tour operators do not host foreigners to this hotel to create wrong impression about beautiful india . Avoid this place at all cost

The rooms were dirty and smelly.. smelt like pesticide warehouse. Had flies inside. Few dead flie too. The side table was dirty. The washroom had fixtures and taps and showerheads rusted, loose. Worst was the sink which got full after single use. The hotel staff was very unfriendly particularly the one at the counter. Had booked it through Agoda. They didn't even allow male visitor. End time 8pm like hostels. I had checked at 5pm post my arrival in New Delhi. No dental kit nothing.. I had paid 3800 for two people.

This was one of the worst experiences I had in my life. The hotel street is very crowded and dirty. The check in was ok, staff didn't talk much english. Once we arrive to the bedroom we realised it was very dirty: floor was dirty/oily, bedroom sheets were dirty, bathroom was smelly and looked outdated and dirty, when I looked under the toilet I saw a big blackish/brownish stain.the furniture (sofas, etc) were dirty and sticky. First night was uncomfortable and I was itchy, actually saw a bug but did not make a big deal. I had also to clean de floor and bathroom counters with wipes. From the bathroom you could hear every noise from the street, no ceiling apparently. Also we could hear our neighbour farting and coughing all the time like we was in our bedroom. Second night WAS A NIGHTMARE: since I felt itchy I started to look more carefully and found BED BUGS, they just started to crawl out, ON BOTH BEDS. Then a COCKROACH ON THE WALL just appeared. How is this even possible?? They just don't clean you bedroom, the cleaning tools (I saw them) are just old and dirty stuff and bottles with some water/product, carried in constructions/painting buckets. Awful experience, if I could I would give negative stars.

I booked executive room with bath tub online in aura hotel.When I reach there in noon time they asked me to wait for half an hour because Room was being prepared. in between the called me and send to see the room but there was no bathtub and it was in normal room so I asked them that I booked a room with bathtub why are you showing me A room without bathtub so after 15 minutes they took me to a room with bath tub but it was not a executive room from any angle .their centrally AC was also not effective. if you book online they will not deal you properly because when you go to hotel without booking they will get more price so they treat u bad. they gave me executive room with bathtub but it was just an ordinary room with bathtub .i ask them for chicken curry at lunch but there was so much Chilli that I was crying instead of having it. Was a very bad experience. Finally. I had to change hotel.

They are NOT ALLOWING people with delhi id. Means delhi people are not allowed here. Never heard this kind of nonsense before except the owner of this hotel. I can't think this ki it's happening in this era.

Bad service by the reception and staffs. Made to wait 2.5 hours for our room, citing the reason that it is not available after making the booking. First they said , no need to pay any advance , then they gave our room to someone else saying they contacted us, and couldnt reach. The rooms were pretty decent, but the staffs as well as the service were the worst. They treat us as if we owe them something. In short, FRAUDS.
