Hotel Atithi - Hotel in Shimla - Shimla, India

Absolutely hated everything about it. Let's discuss i) taxi can not drop you at the doorstep as the hotel is located in a restricted area. You have to walk for 5 to 10 minutes with all your languages and maybe with elderly people. And the rode is somewhat uphill. ii) the hotel reception itself is on the hight of 3rd floor. The stairs are very very tall. It will test your stamina. iii) room is big enough but not very clean. Same goes for the bathroom as well. iv) no view from the room or from the balcony. In top of that, you can not stand on the balcony for long because of' monkey problem '. They can get into your room if you have not closed the windows properly. This is not my opinion or my theory. The staffs said that themselves. v ) the windows and the door don't close properly. vi) room service is almost non existent. vii) The mall road is nearby but a very stiff climb. So my verdict, will not stay again. Not recommended.

I had a pleasant stay in hotel atithi for a week. The room was spacious and clean. Geyser and other amenities were working well. My deluxe room had a balcony as well. Staff were polite and respectful. Food options were less but the available food was fine to eat in terms of preparation as spice content was less. Hotel staff were quick to respond to requests for support. Only issue was location as car park is a bit far and the luggage needs to be taken up the stairs. Not sure if there was room heating facility as I couldn't see it working but I don't think I checked before booking. Overall a pleasant stay.

A good place to stay near to the famous Mall Road of Shimla. Nicely built with indoor parking facility. Easy to locate and staff was really very courteous. Good good at affordable prices. Room rent was also offered at very affordable prices with all required basic necessities. In waliking distance to almost all famous attractions.

It is a worst hotel, Hotel location is worst, entrance, reception and wash rooms of the hotel is worst. All the time stairs are wet and very dirty. No Balcony available, even you can not walk outside hotel due to monkey's. Staff behavior is very rude, not cooperative very very very very poor service. When I booked this hotel online via its phone number they promise to pick and drop from Shimla Railway Station but when I reached there Hotel Shift Manager Mr. Babloo denied to pick and drop. It is located on very height in front of Jakhoo Ropeway if you are coming with family don't book this hotel. Total waste of money.

Amazing food and rooms, loved it!! Recommended to stay over here, the rooms are clean and food is very good. Close to Mall road as well so location is good.

The hotel owner gave us the wrong information regarding the location of hotel. The hotel is located right next to Jakhoo ropeway and we had to Trek almost 500m with luggage from the lift. If you have elderly family member with difficulty in walking then this hotel is a strict no no. The rooms also did not justify the price of Rs3000 as the sheets were dirty, spare blankets were dirty and smelly. Honestly wouldn't pay anything more than 700-1000 for the rooms. Only positives were service was okay and rooms were spacious and if you are visiting Jakhoo temple then it's located right next to the ropeway.

Close proximity to the ridge without too much climb or decent However to reach the reception from the road u have to take a cascade of staircases and that's tough to negotiate. Rooms were damp with sepage, everything in the room had a soggy vibe from floors to bedding Beware of monkeys trying to grab stuff kept near windows Location. Location. Location

I stayed at hotel atithi which is on the top of Mall road and close to jakhu temple. The hotel offers afabulous services to there customers they lovely spacious rooms which is clean and hygienic . Staff is very warmth and professional food is awesome i would highly recommend this hotel..
